1 Tafseer of Surah Baqarah 15 th May 2012 Now all of us we want to be guided and we want to guide others to right and who can we rely on? Allah! And Allah Subahanawatha'la sent down Kalamullah as a means of guidance! Because whenever you have a goal to rely on only Allah az awajal then Allah az awajal has sent the Quran to guide all of mankind and it will benefit the believers! So never think you need to read books written by humans but go first to the Kalamullah! Qaa idah of the Tafseer of Al Quran There are 2 Advices to the Quran: 1. Take the Kalamullah SERIOUSLY! 2. Also when you take the Quran seriously you need to take the Quran the way the sahabah radhiyallahuanhum took it: take 10 ayat and fulfill all of what those 10 ayat talk about! What does FULFIL mean? Means to fulfill the rights of the ayat which are 3 things: The belief every ayat should increase your faith! Al Ilm- increases you in knowledge! Al Amal- Actions! Once you read the Quran you need to believe in every single word in it and that all of it is Haqq! So when u read the kalamullah you cannot ask questions or how this is or why but you need to SUBMIT! And you also need to see this ayat in your life? Put the ayat in practice! Because the ayat is all for you and you need to apply these ayatillah in your life! You also need to believe that while you are in the way to acquiring the knowledge you really need to know that this is kitaab from Allah and that every ayat in the Quran Allah az awajal is addressing you DIRECTLY! The prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said there will come a day where so many people memorized the Quran but there is no action! But during the time of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam there were few who memorized but they acted upon what they learnt!

2 Ayat 161 Allah Subahanawatha'la tells us of the people who don t conceal the truth but they HIDE the truth! So let s read and see what is the difference between the concealing and hiding: 161. إ ن اذ ن ر وا و وا و ھ م ر أ و ك م و ا و اس أ $ ن Verily, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allâh and of the angels and of mankind, combined. In the previous ayat 159 it said: ون right which means to conceal the truth! But in this ayat 161 Allah Subahanawatha'la talks about the people who are ر وا is where they know that Allah Subahanawatha'la is telling the truth and the prophet ون sallallahu alayhi wasallam is also telling the truth but I hide things from others because I want some benefit. But here the ر وا means what? To hide and cover the truth FROM THEIR OWN SELVES! And we said that Allah Subahanawatha'la sent the Quran to spread the truth and remove the falsehood and we need to take the truth right! But these people who are Kuffar they cover and hide the truth! And nowadays we see so many different kaafireen and different ways also! But with the mu mineen we have only ONE way right! The prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam drew a straight line and on the other side he drew other lines [short lines, crooked lines etc ] and the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam showed the straight line and said that the believers are on one path whereas the disbelievers are all on different odd paths! So imagine for the believers guidance is clear and u can submit right! But the kaafireen how do they cover the truth? In different forms right! Some kaafireen DENY and REJECT the truth! E.g.: Ahlul Kitaab > Atheists! Other Kaafireen don t deny the truth but have doubts in the truth! They are still kaafireen because they are not sure about the truth!

3 Other Kaafireen they know the truth but they are arrogant about the truth! [Shaitan]. Imagine when someone knows the truth and believes in it but he is arrogant about the truth then this is like the shaitan right and we see many people like this! Even the Jews come under this category! Some know the truth but how do they hide it? By hating it. e.g.: munafiqeen! They are named as Muslims and all but they hate the legislations and laws that the religion has! But religion you need to accept and submit and love it right and not hate it! Some people hate the halaal and haram etc Kaafireen who make fun and mock the truth! Make fun at the hijab or niqaab or about the Jannah and Jahannum and making fun of the beard etc.. So now we see ر وا is mentioned in the past tense right! Why? This means there are people who have this attitude until they die! Like they are dipped in the ink of kuffr! Subahanallah! Now if someone makes fun of the religion in front of u it is not a reason for you to call people kaafireen etc no finger pointing or judging! These ayat are for YOURSELF! But if you see people behaving with the characteristics mentioned above you can advise them and all but no being harsh and avoiding them etc. But what about the Mu mineen? They take the ayat Submit to it Love it Never mock at the ayat! و وا و ھ م ر title? So now these people who are hiding the truth when will they get the When they die! But still we cannot tell if a person died on disbelief or not because we don t know what is in their hearts right! So we worry more for ourselves! Now we have kuffr and belief right! Belief = belief in Allah Kuffr = cover the truth! What originated first? The belief! It was in our fitrah! And everyone was created as a believer but then later on people change right! So the kuffar they CHOSE to cover the truth! And if the person doesn t search for the truth then his kuffr will increase and increase with time and get more complicated! E.g.: we see young boys and old men. Who are easier to convince? The younger boy s right! But as time goes its harder to change people right!

4 So here now what will happen to the kuffar? أ و ك م They will get the CURSE OF ALLAH! Now the kaafireen are so much worse because they are covering the truth from their own selves right! And now look at the previous ayat where Allah Subahanawatha'la curses them in a verb form right! But these kuffar who die as kaafireen get a STAMP OF WHICH WILL NEVER LEAVE THEM! So it is mentioned in this ayat like a noun! Indicating that these people have no choice of repentance because if they don t want to change their selves they will remain like this until they die! Nothing goes in and nothing goes out! So it is so much severe right than the people who cover the truth from others! Subahanallah! This is so scary! And we see in the life we make mistakes right and if we are alive we have a chance to change right! But the person who insists in doing the wrong then the stamp will come and the door closes for him! This م indicates that there is no escape from this curse! And we see that the curse is not just from Allah but from the Malaaikah also! Now why the Malaaikah? Because the kaafireen they don t appreciate the guidance which Allah Subahanawatha'la sent through Jibreel and hence they deserve the curse from the angels and all of them! Curse from Allah = Allah Subahanawatha'la will make them far from HIS MERCY Curse from Malaaikah = the Malaaikah make dua for the kaafireen to be cursed! Subahanallah! So may Allah Subahanawatha'la make us FAR FROM THE KUFFR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now just imagine in the life we need the mercy so much but then imagine in the life when u are being cursed and cursed! Subahanallah! And the adhaab for the kaafireen is the Naar! And hell is FAR AWAY from Jannah! And how do we know this? From the Hadeeth about the Siraat! The depth of the hellfire being that if u throw something from the top it will take 50 thousand years to reach the ground! و اس أ $ ن And not just the Malaaikah who will curse these people but also the

5 , the young and old, male and female, believers and disbelievers all will curse the kaafireen! Why? Because they are Kaafireen and the Kaafireen encourage others with their kuffr hence all these people will curse them!!! Subahanallah! Just imagine what the plight of the disbelievers is! They will have the curse of Allah, the angels and all the rest of the people! And they will have this until the Day of Judgment!
