1 Friday Sermon Summary December 01, th of Rabiul Awal is the day when that light descended upon this earth who has been termed as in the Holy Quran. He established the the teachings of God in this world and revived thousands of spiritually dead. He was indeed a mercy for the world as Allah says in the Holy Quran: ا ل ين ع ن اك ا إ ل ر ح م ة ل ل world. - We have sent you as a mercy for the entire و م ا أ ر سل Allah declares him an excellent role model in the Holy Quran for the entire humanity. Allah says: ة For you is an excellent ا لق د ك ان ل ك م ف ي ر س ول ال ا له أ س و ة ح سن model in the Prophet of Allah. A Muslim cannot be called a Muslim without following the model of the Holy Prophet (sa). He has set an example for us in worship of God, in high morals and in establishing the rights of fellow human beings. It s unfortunate that majority of Muslims have put aside the excellent role-model of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa). They celebrate the 12th of Rabiul-Awwal, but do not vow to follow the model of the Holy Prophet (sa), which teaches peace, high morals and mercy for everyone. In Pakistan, we see that security is raised in these days. The hate speech against Ahmadis increases in these days. Recently we saw many violent protests in Pakistan against Ahmadis, resulting in loss of millions. This is all due to the disorder created by these so-called scholars in the name of love of Prophet (sa). These people do not follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad; rather they use religion to pass judgment on other people s faith. It is for us Ahmadis to study and follow all aspects of the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa). The Promised Messiah (as) has said about his love of God Almighty that the Holy Prophet (sa) had sacrificed himself for one being. He had lost himself in love of

2 ر ا به God to the extent that people of Mecca used to say that Muhammad (sa) has lost himself in the love of his Lord. ش ق م ح ا مد ع I always look with amazement that this Arabian Prophet, whose name is Muhammad (thousand upon thousand blessings and salutations be on him). How great is the status of this Prophet (sa). The greatness of his high status cannot be assessed and to estimate the efficacy of his holy power is beyond human capacity. He loved God with extreme love and his heart softened to the highest degree in compassion towards the mankind. So God, who knew the secret of his heart, elevated him above all the Prophets, above all the earlier or later people and fulfilled all his wishes during his life time. He is the one, who is the fountain head of every kind of blessings. About the Tahajjud prayer of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa), Hazrat Aisha (ra) says that he used to offer no more than 11 Rakats, but they were so long and beautiful which cannot be explained in words. Once she asked the Holy Prophet (sa) that since God has forgiven all of your mistakes, why do you put yourself in so much pain? He replied: Should I not become a grateful servant of God? Another high moral which saw its peak in the Holy Prophet (sa) is humility and lowliness. Hazrat Aisha (ra) says that it never happened that a person called the Holy Prophet (sa) and he didn t respond to their call. He used to meet everyone. Hazrat Ali (ra) says that when the Holy Prophet (sa) used to meet someone, he would turn his entire body towards him and he used to take lead in saying Salaam to people. Hazoor Anwar said that if we want to celebrate the life of the Holy Prophet (sa), we need to follow his example. We need to increase our standards of worship and standards of morality. The Promised Messiah (as) has taught us to look towards and seek guidance from the Uswa of the Holy Prophet (sa) in every aspect of our life. He says about the Holy Prophet (sa):

3 and promote Love for all, Hatred for none Canada That human being who was the most perfect and the perfect man, perfect Prophet and came with perfect blessings and by whose spiritual proclamation and resurrection the world experienced the first Doom's Day and the entire world, a dead (Spiritually) world became alive by his advent. That blessed Prophet, the 'seal of the Prophets, leader of the righteous, pride of the Messengers and pride of the Prophets, was Muhammad Mustafasa. O our beloved God, send such blessings and mercy on our beloved Prophet (sa) as you have not sent on anyone since the beginning of this world.
