2 We Celebrate Sunday Mass 4:30 pm - Saturday Vigil 8:00 am, 9:30 am (Polish), 11:00 am Weekday Mass 8:30 am - Monday - Saturday Holy Day Mass As announced in bulletin and at Sunday Mass The Sacrament of Baptism Baptism will take place on the 4th Sunday of the month at 1:00 pm. Parents must register at the parish office. An Instructional Class for parents is held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:30 pm in the Church. Please call no later than 3:00 pm Friday afternoon to make arrangements. Prayer Opportunities The Rosary: Reflects on the important events in the life of Jesus and His Mother, Mary. Please pray the rosary privately or with the parishioners each morning following 8:30 am Mass. Miraculous Medal Novena: The Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is prayed Monday morning at 8:15 am before 8:30 am Mass. 3 Once again, Saint Pancras is sponsoring a Giving Tree for The Bridge to Life and Hour Children. The tags are marked girl or boy and age. You may purchase an age appropriate toy or clothing accessory. Please bring the gift in a holiday bag with the tag attached. Please do not wrap. We Prepare For Next Sunday: Second Sunday of Advent First Reading: Isaiah 11: 1-10 Second Reading: Romans 15: 4-9 PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS Gospel Reading: Matthew 3: 1-12 The Church Bells will ring this Eucharistic Devotions As we begin a new church year with the start of Advent, we will begin to have a monthly Holy Hour with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. This will take place on the Monday following the First Friday of each month after our morning mass, for one hour, beginning at 9 AM. Therefore, in addition to the Novena Prayers to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and St. Anne before the mass (at 8:15 AM), all are invited to spend some time in prayer before Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament following the mass. SAINT PANCRAS SCHOOL OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION Religious Education Classes are Tuesday, November 29 at 7:00 pm.... for Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. Wednesday, November 30 at 7:00 pm.... for Grades 6, 7, & 8. Children will be dismissed at 8:15 pm. All children will meet in Pfeifer Hall. The doors open at 6:45 pm. We ask that you bring your child/ren on time, so class can begin at 7:00 pm. 6 COMMUNITY NEWS MUSIC MINISTRY The Children s Choir will rehearse on Thurs., December 1 from 3 to 3:50 pm. The children will sing at the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, December 4. Please join us. The Adult Choir will rehearse on Saturday, December 3 & 10 at 2:00 pm in the Church. SAVE THE DATE Lessons and Carols will be presented on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 pm in the Church. FOOD PANTRY St. Pancras wishes to thank all our parishioners who made a donation this month to Sacred Heart s Food Pantry. Your support of their mission helps families in our neighborhood. Your generosity is appreciated. ST. JOSEPH & ST. PI0 PRAYER GROUP The St. Joseph & St. Pio Prayer Group meeting is Saturday, December 3. Members are invited to participate at the 8:30 am Mass. After Mass, the Rosary will be recited. Immediately following the Rosary, our meeting will be held in Pfeifer Hall and a continental breakfast will be served. Please be prepared to pay your yearly dues for and/or at the this meeting. Our annual dues are $20.Please contact Francesca at if you have any questions.
