1 Trinity Times II Saturday, September 8, 2018 to Sunday, September 16, 2018 Please take this home with you! Our Mission is to welcome all people to know and live as Christ in the world. A partial weekly listing of activities and programs at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Reno WE WELCOME YOU, are glad you chose to be with us today, and are honored by your presence! We are here to welcome and serve all of God s people, so if we can be of service to you please let us know. We invite you to come to our Welcome Table at the back of the church, sign our Guest Book, and receive a gift. There is a Peach Form in the pew if you would be willing to express your concerns or give us contact information. This form may be placed into the offering plate (this is all we expect of you at the Offertory, since you are our guest!) or given to one of the clergy when you depart. Sunday September 9, at 10:00AM. One Service Only! Perhaps your passion is to read or sing, or maybe you enjoy organizing and setting up? Being a lector (reader of scripture), singing in the choir, or serving on the Altar Guild (which welcomes both men and women) would be a place to serve? There are a myriad of ways you can serve, from a few hours a week to a short term project period, or more. Our Ministry Fair Celebration will have displays for as many of the ministries we can possibly advertise to help all of us to see and experience the opportunities we have to express and share our faith. We will share a time of fellowship together as we bring together all three morning congregations and those from Saturday, 5:00 PM. We then will be able to get to know of the broader membership and share some wonderful memories together. At 11:30 we will enjoy the festivities of a picnic! The church will offer grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Members and families are asked to bring favorite cold side dishes and desserts to share. New Open Weekly Bible Study every Friday at 11:00 AM! LED BY REV. RICK BEGINS FRI., SEPT. 14! Looking for a casual Bible Study to enrich your week? Beginning Friday, September 14, Rev. Rick will be facilitating an open Bible study 11:00 AM Noon every week. There is no preparation and no homework. Each week, we will be reading the Gospel for the coming Sunday and sharing our thoughts about it in a relaxed table discussion. Feel free to drop-in when you are able to on Fridays, before coming to our Pipes on the River concerts (we ll end a bit early), or make it part of your weekly devotional. Bring your lunch if you d like! We ll be meeting in Conference Room A on the lower level of the Parish Hall (no stairs, yay!) 1

If you feel moved to do so, a monetary donation to "Dan's Fund" may be included with your card. This will be a way to support his social ministry projects in Denver, and a way to signal our appreciation of his hard work in many diverse social areas here in Nevada over the last 10 plus years!
