Loose Coins: All loose coins in the offering today go local hunger. The loose coin offering for last week was $ Attendance: Last Sunday (Oct. 21): 8:30 am 92; 11am 81; Total 173 SHARE AND SUPPORT will meet on Monday, Nov. 4 th at 11:30am at Yen Ching restaurant on University. LOST AND FOUND: The lost and found table near the church office is overflowing! Please check to see if there is anything there that belongs to you. FREE YARN is available in the gym to use for items to be donated to the Sunday School mitten tree. Help yourself!

3 THANK YOU: Thank you to all who came to Marilyn Kyle s 90 th Birthday celebration on Oct. 13, sent cards, and continue to keep her in your prayers. She was very happy to see so many friends and she received 95 birthday cards from many friends here at FELC. SNACK PACK DONATIONS: During November, we will be collecting packets of Ramen Noodles in all flavors. Adults are encouraged to volunteer to carry the cross in worship. This is also a great opportunity for Ushers to learn about minor tweaks to acolyting and worship flow. Come get a fuller appreciation of the efforts of these worship leaders. The class will be led by Pastor Ryan.

4 LOOKING AHEAD TO NOVEMBER NOVEMBER FOOD DRIVE: Bags will be available next Sunday, Nov. 4 th, for our quarterly food drive which benefits the East Bluff food bank. Please take a bag next Sunday and return it on November 11 th with nonperishable food or paper goods. ELECTION DAY HOSPITALITY Tuesday, November 6 th First English is one of the largest polling places in Peoria. For the last few elections we have offered hospitality to our neighbors as they come to vote. We offer coffee, water and a small snack, and direct people to restrooms as needed. It is a fun, easy way to welcome people to our building. If you can help, please sign up for an hour or more. Volunteers are needed as early as 6am. You can volunteer to serve multiple hours. ADULT FELLOWSHIP Thursday, November Obed & Isaac's 321 NE Madison Avenue, Peoria Pub Theology: The format is simple: beer, conversation, and God. People have been gathering in pubs and public spaces for ages, talking about life, philosophy, faith, and deep questions of meaning. Come explore faith and its connection to family, work, society, and...well, all of life. Space is limited--sign up in Luther Hall by Sunday, Nov. 11 th. WOMEN'S THANKOFFERING SERVICE will be held on Sunday, November 18. THANKSGIVING EVE WORSHIP and FELLOWSHIP Wednesday, November 21 st 1pm & 7pm Thanksgiving Eve services will be held at First English at 1pm and 7pm. Following each service, stay and enjoy pie and fellowship. We are asking for financial donations to help offset the cost of the pies. You can place a donation in the offering plate. Please clearly mark your check or envelope with "Pie Fund." If you can help serve and clean up after either the 1pm or 7pm service, please sign up in Luther Hall (the gym). REHEARSALS FOR THE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM will begin on Sunday, Nov. 25 th during the Sunday School hour and continue each Wednesday from 5:45-6:45pm and Sunday mornings.
