2 Life Groups Serve Groups Life Groups are weekly or every-otherweek groups of 6-20 people that meet for the purpose of Bible study (topical or sequential), prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. Think of these as the living room in the home, where people are in a circle. Serve Groups are groups whose main purpose is to minister together. Think of these as the kitchen of the home, where the work is getting done. Affinity Groups Affinity Groups are groups whose main purpose is to engage in a special interest or outreach. These groups will usually meet less frequently than life groups (perhaps monthly). Think of these as the den or garage of the home, where the people are gathered around the same hobby.

14 How can I join a Group? Write the name of the group you want to join along with your contact information on your Attendance Card and drop it in the offering plate. The group leader will contact you with details. Stop by the Join a Group table on the patio and sign-up. There are many ways to develop your leadership skills at Grace. To become a Life Group Leader, we recommend that you: Have been a part of a Grace Life Group for at least one semester.
