Jack Shitama Anxious Church, Anxious People: How to Lead Change in an Age of Anxiety David McAllister-Wilson, President, Wesley Theological Seminary, wrote this about the book: "This is an excellent resource for pastors and others who aspire to leadership in the church. In fact, this is the book I wish I'd written and will use it when I teach leadership. 'Anxiety' is the issue for us, and the angel said, 'Fear not.'" Here are links to the three major onine stores: Get the book from Amazon Get the book from Barnes & Noble Get the book from Ibooks Conference Council on Young Adult Ministries CCYAM is looking for young adult leaders who are willing to organize and serve in young adult ministries during the term. CCYAM is a council within the Peninsula Delaware conference, and is led by young adults for young adults. Over the course of the year the CCYAM will plan local mission, fellowship, and worship opportunities for young adults. The goal of CCYAM is to bring together active young adult ministries in local congregations, and young adults without a strong network to come together for ministry opportunities. Some of the current ministries of the CCYAM include an active blog, mission experience to Colombia, and day of fun at Camp Pecometh. Many of the roles and responsibilities of the CCYAM are new, so young adults who are servant leaders and are flexible to changes are important. Members of the CCYAM will help develop and execute the vision for young adult ministry for the Annual Conference. The CCYAM will have at least one young adult from each district within the conference. CCYAM strives to be comprised of individuals of diverse ages within the young adult scope, race and genders. This is an inclusive body and all young adults are encouraged to apply. Application Link 6
