Through baptism God has made her a member of the household of God, to share with us in the priesthood of Christ. The baptismal banner celebrates the sacrament of baptism. The shell with drops of water is a symbol of Jesus baptism. 5 Calendar for the week of October 12 October 19 and beyond TODAY October 12 (Stewardship Kickoff) We thank all who are sharing their ministries in worship today. The chancel flowers are given for the Glory of God by Bruce and Vicki Wolff in memory of Jacqueline Goodyear and loved ones. Nursery and child care for infants through 3rd-graders is staffed throughout the morning. We also offer a quiet space for nursing mothers. Education hour 9:40-10:40 a.m.: >Sunday school for all ages. Pre-K through grade 5 meet in the sanctuary for Gathering Time. Evstuhin has been hailed as one of the finest pianists in the young generation. TUESDAY October 14 Festival of Music Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. in the lounge. WEDNESDAY October 15 NO choir, supper, youth groups, or bells because of Education Minnesota workshop. Priscilla Circle meets at 9:15 a.m. in the lounge. WEDNESDAY October 22 All Wednesday programs resume. SATURDAY October 25 The Fall Gathering of Presbyterian Women of the Twin Cities Area Presbytery will be held at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in Bloomington. The theme is "Our Church, Our Issues: Divestment, Gun Violence, and Immigration. The keynote speaker is Rev. Stephanie Anthony, who attended the 221st General Assembly last summer. PW will pay the registration, which includes lunch, for all who wish to attend. Turn in your registration to Peg Parsons by October 13. SUNDAY October 26 Worship at 8:30 and 11 a.m. It s time for a Family Fun Night from 6-8 p.m. There will be activities and games for all ages.
