STS spiritwear will also be available. contributor Mrs. Amy Powers had a small dilemma when she began designing the infiorata flower petal scene for the Eucharistic Procession for the feast of Corpus Christi. She didn't know which flower she should choose Reluctantly, she settled on lilac but she felt as if the Holy Spirit was telling her hair will be just fine! So imagine the surprise when, on the morning as the students of the STS Mission Commission had just finished placing the last petal on the image of the Sacred Heart and were busy praying an emergency Memorare Novena for the electricity to be restored in the school (a minor hiccup that morning), the hair indeed turned BROWN! Have a wonderful summer! The image was exposed at the Immaculate Conception Basilica of D.C., Franciscan Monastery and churches around the area. Many who touch the Tilma of Our Blessed Mother are able to hear the heartbeat of Our Blessed Mother and the heartbeat of baby Jesus. There have been instances when Our Blessed Mother wept tears of oil and her hands felt warm to the touch. Still others have smelled the heavenly scent of roses. Parent Alert: The Fairfax County School Board is currently in the process of transferring sensitive Family Life Education (FLE) topics out of the optional FLE curriculum into the mandatory Emotional and Health curriculum. If adopted, parents will lose their rights to opt their children out of subjects that carry significant moral implications in the area of sexuality contrary to the teachings of the Church. Concerned parents can review and make comments on the proposed changes and make comments from May 21 to June 19.
