This year the Knights of Columbus will be offering to deliver Christmas trees to those not able to transport the tree they have selected. The bed of the sick is an altar of sacrifice. New Years 2017 In celebration of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God and the New Year we will have exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament after the 5:30 pm Vigil Mass. Exposition will continue silently until 10 pm. At 10 pm we will close the Octave of Christmas with the singing of Christmas hymns. At 11 pm we will have another Vigil Mass finishing at 12 midnight. We will pray for our families. We will pray for our parish. We will pray for our Church. We will pray for our nation. And we will be with our Lord as we bring in another year. Opportunity Fr. 7 Advent Recollection The Sisters of our Lady of LaSalette and the Lay LaSalette Community will be holding their Advent Recollection on December 10 from 9-1 beginning with the 9:15 Mass followed by the Recollection in the Upper Room at St. Mary of Sorrows Church, 5222 Sideburn Road Fairfax.
