For many years, since her appearances to St. Bernadette of Soubirous in 1858, Our Blessed Mother Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Lourdes, has been a special patroness for all the sick and suffering. Millions of people visit the shrine each year to pray to Our Lady of Lourdes for healing in soul and body, and for strength in their trials. On the weekend of February 11 th - 12 th, all those who are suffering from illnesses in mind, body, and spirit are welcome to join us at St. Joseph Church for a Solemn Blessing for the Sick at all the weekend Masses. Join us as we pray for the patronage and blessing of Our Lady of Lourdes for all those that are sick among us, that they may receive healing, hope, and strength as they bear the cross of their illness for their salvation and that of the whole world.
