1 Web site: Phone: (410) From the Pastor By Rev. Karen Bunnell, Senior Pastor Dear Friends, We stand at the beginning of a brand new year, and as always, when you re in this place, you look backwards at what has been, and look forward to what will yet be. Looking back on 2012, we will remember an interminable election season, and a superstorm that devastated many. But we ll also remember so many amazing and exciting things that happened here in our church - working new and various ways to reach the unchurched, involving more and more people in hands-on ministries, making much needed improvements to our physical facilities, our music ministries booming, and so much more. And as we look foward, we can only trust that God will challenge us to do even more in Who knows where He will lead us, and what we will yet do for the kingdom? We do know that there are hurting people all around us, people who need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, and who need our care. So my prayer is that as we start 2013, and all the 365 days ahead, our singular goal will be to seek and do God s will. I m so blessed to be on this journey of ministry with you, and I can t wait to see where God will take us this year! May He bless you and yours richly in 2013! To the congregation of Elkton United Methodist Church: We in the Imaging Department of Union Hospital would A gentleman came to the front desk to say thank you to the employees working today. He asked us how many people were working, handed me the correct amount of envelopes envelopes to my coworkers, their faces beamed with the thoughtfulness that you provided in not only the actual are happy to serve the public in our jobs but truly appreciate the kindness of your congregation.
