OUR FACILITIES Our restrooms are located to the right as you leave the sanctuary in the Mo and downstairs next to the exit. The members of St. John s believe that fa encouraged to worship together. (Church, like much of life, needs to be ta children.) If your young one needs some time out, we have a video and a equipped Mother s Room just outside the sanctuary to your right. If you ne during the service, please feel free to ask an usher. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY What does the church have that is valuable? There are plenty of things tha which we could attach a certain price: the organ, the pews and chairs, the o equipment. Are those things the most valuable? Hopefully not. The most that our church possesses hold more value than any amount of money cou at the same time they are things that we willingly give away for free. PRAYER BEFORE WORSHIP Blessed Jesus, from the glories of heaven you entered this sinful world. Yo my place in life and death so that by faith I would have life everlasting! I pra amazing love for me. Let my life center on what you have done for me out boundless grace. Let the things of this world take second place to you. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen. The Bible teaches that communing together signifies a oneness in faith, life, and worship. Reception of the Lord s Supper by Christians not fully united with us would imply a oneness that does not exist. Therefore, we kindly ask that if you are not a member of St. John s or a sister WELS or ELS congregation, that you do not commune with us today. 10 Schroeder Farewell You are invited to a Farewell Potluck for Pastor Schroeder and family on Sunday July 31 st at 10:30 am. Church will provide meat and buns as well as place settings and beverages. Please see signup sheet in narthex to add your family name, number attending, and dish you will share [salad, side, or dessert so we can best prepare for all. Please note: St. John s Church will be gifting Pastor with a set of five embroidered stoles for the liturgical year to wear with his robes. If you would like to contribute, please place a labeled donation in the collection plate or bring it to the office.
