The Pre-School and Children Divisions will celebrate Jesus in song, dance, recitations and dramatic presentations. The Nursery will not be open on this date. Greenforest Family and Friends: Please join us for Noonday Bible Study and 7:00 pm. Our Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal: Fried chicken, Pasta Salad, Broccoli. For your convenience, we have an excellent Nursery available for infants (6-weeks to three years old in Building I) and AWANA for ages 4 years old through 6 th Grade (in Fellowship Hall). College Student Reunion Luncheon (former Ipraise students currently enrolled in college) TODAY: Sunday, December 16, 2018 Immediately following 2 nd service. The Greenforest Ushers Ministry has partnered with Lions Clubs International to collect used eyeglasses for communities in need. The eyeglasses collection effort ends TODAY, Sunday, December 16 th. Our goal is to collect 500 pairs of eyeglasses. Please help us reach our goal for this worthy cause by donating your used eyeglasses. The collection bins are located on the back porch. 3 Rev. Dr. Darryl Vaughn Footmon was raised in Queens, NY, and now resides in Conyers, GA. Currently he serves as the Executive Pastor at Greenforest Community Baptist Church. Prior to coming to Greenforest, he was an Associate Minister at Springfield Baptist Church, Conyers, GA. Reverend Footman served as Executive Pastor and Pastor for Congregational Care at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, in Peekskill, NY, before relocating to Georgia. Rev. Footmon coordinated and facilitated the Ministers-In-Training Program. He also served as a worship leader. Rev. Footmon was the liaison between the congregation and ministry leaders for special worship services and programs. His passion for wellness and fitness led him to facilitate a Christian-based resistance-training program that incorporated spirituality, strength and agility. Rev. Footmon also served as Sunday School Superintendent and Minister for Evangelism and Outreach. Rev. Footmon also served as Associate Minister for Men s Ministries under the leadership of Rev. Dr. W. Franklyn Richardson of Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, NY. On November 20, 2002, Pastor Richardson licensed him to preach the gospel after he publicly accepted God s calling on his life in In preparation for his license to preach, Rev. Footmon completed an intensive two-year comprehensive program at New York Theological Seminary where he obtained his Certificate in Christian Ministry. He continued his education and received a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Studies from Concordia College. Rev. Footmon also holds an Associate Degree in Data Processing from LaGuardia Community College. Rev. Footmon's continued commitment to spiritual development led him to pursue and obtain a Master of Divinity Degree from New York Theological Seminary in May He was ordained in November In May 2014, he was conferred a Doctor of Ministry from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University with a focus on Interfaith Relationships. In 2012, Reverend Footmon retired after 20 plus years as a New York City Police Officer. He served his last 10 years as a Community Affairs Police Officer in the 25 th Precinct in Harlem. In addition, he served as the Youth Explorer Advisor where he taught children in the community about law enforcement and supervised youth trips and community service projects. Reverend Footmon has been married to the irreplaceable Paula M. Burrus-Footmon for over 31 years. Their union has blessed them with one extraordinary 27-year-old daughter, Jossette M. Footmon-Smith, of Austell, GA, a MSW graduate from Kennesaw State University.

4 Elder Claude Douglas Cheatham, Jr. is one who God has called to speak the truth and nothing but the truth, he has been appointed to bring deliverance to the hurting and is anointed to bring empowerment to this generation. Elder Claude Douglas Cheatham, Jr., a gifted young servant of God, is the son of Reverend Claude D. Cheatham, Sr. and Sherry L. Mason. He received Christ at the tender age of six (6) and accepted his call to the preaching ministry at age eight (8). Reverend Cheatham was licensed to preach on November 12, 2006 at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor O Hara C. Black, and ordained on October 16, 2016 at Daytona Deliverance Church by Bishop William A. Lee, Jr. Currently, Elder Cheatham serves as Youth and Young Adult Pastor of The St. Paul Church of Jacksonville under the leadership of Bishop John Eric Guns. Elder Cheatham isn t new to ministry but has served the body of Christ in various capacities, one could be noted -- Youth Pastor at Hope Fellowship Church, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, Founding Pastor Bishop Derek T. Triplett. In addition to the ministry of proclamation, Elder Cheatham is also an anointed psalmist, who is uniquely gifted at blending styles of worship from the very contemporary and urban down to the traditional without sacrificing one for the other. Because of his passion for service, Elder Cheatham served Progressive Missionary Baptist State Youth Convention faithfully as, 3 rd Vice President and 1 ST Vice President of Youth and has ministered as Keynote Preacher. Elder Cheatham had the honor of being chosen to intern and preach at Empowerment AME Temple of Baltimore, Maryland with Dr. Jamal Harrison- Bryant, which included strategic thinking, extensive work, and endless possibilities. Elder Cheatham is a product of The Orange County Public School System. The educational pursuits of Elder Cheatham led him to Bethune - Cookman University, where he is currently majoring in Religion with concentration on Christian Studies; with a minor in Political Science. Reverend Cheatham has served BCU in various capacities; such as Student Government Association Freshman Class President, SGA Executive Director of Religious Affairs, Vice President of Religious Life, Chapel Assistant, NAACP, and Alpha Nu Omega Christian Fraternity, Inc. Of all his accomplishments, his most important is the framing of his family. Elder Cheatham is the proud husband and life partner of Alexis Michelle Cheatham and the loving father of one son, Zion.

5 Attention Fulfillment Hour Shepherds and Ministry Leaders: The delivery dates for the Christmas Mission Baskets, December 16-22, God bless you for your benevolent spirit to extend love to many families who might otherwise not have Christmas meal. Each FH class and ministries are asked to sponsor the same families assigned for Thanksgiving. Deacon Jesse Harris' Family Winter Fellowship Dinner Sunday, January 27, 2019 after the 2 nd service in the Cornerstone Room Deacons Mitchell and Hillman Clusters Fellowship Meal Saturday, January 26, 2019, 3pm until 6pm in the Genesis Room. Deacons in the Mitchell Cluster are: Bennie Boyd, Edward Butler, Nathaniel Henderson, Howard Tompkins, Eugene Wright and including members of the late Henry Drakeford Ministry. Deacons in the Hillman Cluster are: Danny Outlaw, Harold Banks, George Bugg, Earnest Gardner, James Garner, Isaac Pippen, and Charles Robinson. The Greenforest Missions Ministry continues the Share the Warmth Blankets and Socks Drive through Sunday, December 30 th. Members are encouraged to donate new Twin Blankets and socks for homeless men, women, teenagers and children. Please place your donations in the designated barrels on the back porch. Thank you!
