2 Station Report $ We$have$just$completed$our$second$ Revived $service$at$the$ middle$school $and$it$was$phenomenal$i$don t$say$this$because$the$ preaching$offered$any$new$revelaeons$or$insights,$or$the$music$was$ extraordinary$and$perfect$ I$say$this$because$of$what$was$seen$there:$ HOPE.$ $ You$see,$someEmes$we$get$so$focused$on$the$trees$that$we$ forget$about$the$forest$around$us.$our$views$are$direct,$targeted,$and$ with$purpose someemes$so$much$so$that$we$forget$to$look$around$at$ the$bigger$picture.$for$example,$at$this$one$service$there$was$about$150$ people$gathered$together$to$worship$jesus.$now$this$may$not$seem$like$a$ big$deal$because$there$are$plenty$of$churches$that$have$that$many$in$ aaendance,$but$to$hold$this$view$is$to$see$the$trees,$not$the$forest $ $ What$we$are$trying$to$do$at$the$school$is$not$just$be$another$ church$(believe$me,$there$are$plenty$of$those$in$this$county),$it$is$a$ movement$to$reach$into$the$community$and$gain$those$who$are$hungry$ for$christ $to$reach$a$generaeon$that$has$no$idea$of$the$greatness$of$this$ God$we$worship.$The$150$that$gathered$for$worship$this$past$Sunday$ were$from$every$denominaeon and$from$none;$believers$in$christ and$ those$that$are$sell$lost.$there$were$bapest,$lutheran,$catholic,$chrisean,$ Church$of$Christ,$and$Pentecostal;$saved,$as$well$as$unsaved.$Individually,$ each$and$every$one$has$their$preferred$worship$style,$their$preferred$ method$of$preaching$and$teaching,$and$their$preferred$way$of$doing$ church.$but$they$all$came$together$for$one$hour$on$sunday$to$praise$and$ worship$jesus.$differences$aside$and$truth$together.$ $ Did$we$please$all$of$them$in$our$way$of$worshipping$(both$in$ preaching$and$music)?$certainly$not.$can$we?$not$on$your$life.$but$what$ we$can$do$is$allow$god$to$do$something$bigger$than$that.$what$we$saw$ Sunday$was$hope.$Hope$that$God$will$allow$us$to$put$our$differences$ aside$in$order$to$pursue$a$common$interest $the$kingdom.$i$saw$a$ gathering$this$past$weekend$that$may$turn$out$to$do$just$that.$god$ promises$us$in$his$word$that$if$we$seek$the$kingdom$first,$he$will$add$ everything$else$to$us we$are$following$that$promise$and$believing$him$ for$the$difference.$thank$you$all$for$your$prayers$and$support.$ $ $ $ $ $ $ God$Bless,$ $ $ $ $ $ $ Cash$Hunsley WEDNESDAY NIGHT OPPORTUNITIES DINNER/ADULT STUDY/W.O.W.
