The study highlights the biblical foundations of every moment of Christ's Passion... the Old Testament prophesies fulfilled, the amazing connections to our Catholic faith, the historical context of the events... all unfolding in a way that is ever ancient, ever new. This study is not just about knowledge... it's about feeling the personal connection, the personal relevancy, of the Passion to your life. The Passion is not just Christ's passion of determination, it is the passion of a lover. Jesus is pursuing us throughout the Passion narrative... he was thinking of us in the Agony in the Garden and loving us as he carried his cross. No Greater Love is nothing but the story of God s tremendous love for you. The NJ Conference of Catholic Bishops has approved a statewide postcard campaign urging our NJ State and Assembly Members to support the NJ Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, A-1686/S-537. If passed, this legislation would protect babies in the womb at 20 weeks postfertilization that is 5 months and beyond. ( The United States is one of ONLY 7 countries in the world that allows elective abortion past 20 weeks. ) This legislation has already been passed in 17 other states. Many babies in the womb at 20 weeks, could live outside the womb if given proper medical care. God cares as deeply about the babies in the womb as He does you and me. We need to do our part to make sure that they are welcomed and protected. Along with educating our legislators, we need to raise awareness among our fellow citizens about the humanity of the baby in the womb.
