This week: Spiritual Love in the Acts of Andrew. Music Notes The 1941 Prelude is by British composer Gerald Finzi and was originally one of five Bagatelles for clarinet and piano. The Offertory was composed in 1967 by Sebastian Temple; this arrangement was made by Martin Neary for the memorial service of Princess Diana. The Offertory is the celebrated aria Ombra mai fù from the 1738 opera Serse by George Frideric Handel. The Postlude (ca.1695) comes from the fifth harpsichord Suite of Henry Purcell and was dedicated to Princess Anne of Denmark.
