4 Children s Ministry NURSERY is available for infants - pre-school age children for all three Sunday worship services from 7:45 AM - 12:15 PM. CHILDREN S SUNDAY SCHOOL begins September 9, 9:30-10:30am. Nursery - 4 year olds meet in Nursery/Preschool Area K - 6th graders meet in Faith Forest There will NOT be Sunday school on Sunday, December 30th. However, Children s Worship will be available at all 3 services. Youth Ministry 4

We usually recieve a lot of great information about what s coming up, however, it would be great to see some stories and testimonies of the work our Church has done to build followers of Jesus in our community. A great way to frame your submissions is to ponder the question, where have I seen or experienced God in my areas of involvement? and to document those stories for our entire church to read. We look forward to hearing what you ve been up to! 6 United Methodist Men The UMM will have their monthly meeting on January 19th. Come at 8:30 AM for breakfast and fellowship and stay for the meeting.

Simply click the play button when the media player loads. 2. Watch using the Tri-Lakes UMC mobile App. Simply push the new Watch Live button and click the play button when the media player loads. 3. Visit our facebook page (facebook.com/tlumc) at 11:00 AM on a Sunday and you will find us! The stream is public, so there is no need to have a Facebook account to watch. 4. Watch on your TV using an Apple TV (4th generation, 2015 version and higher) or any Roku device. You will need to add the Sunday Streams channel, and input TLUMC as the Stream ID. After this one time setup, the stream will be available to you each week by simply opening the channel and clicking play on your device. This is a great way for those who are traveling, homebound, or even those who have moved away to stay connected to TLUMC on a regular basis. 7

8 Nursery Nursery Workers Needed TLUMC seeks part-time nursery workers to care for our precious children ages 6 weeks-four years. Qualifications: - Must love God and love children - Must be kind, patient, and extremely reliable - Must be 21+ years of age - Must be available 2-3 Sunday mornings/month from 7:45 AM - 12:15 PM and occasionally for various other church activities throughout the week. - Must be willing to complete and maintain First Aid/CPR certification Salary: $11.54/hour Applications available in the church office Contact Nancy ce@tlumc.org for more information 8

) We try to plan activities that include those who are extremely mobile and those who aren t so mobile, so there s always a huge variety on the calendar for the year.

9 Prime Timers (55+) Who are the Prime Timers? We re not going to call ourselves senior citizens, but we are the 55 and over crowd of Tri-Lakes United Methodist (and we always welcome anyone to join us for any of our activities!) We try to plan activities that include those who are extremely mobile and those who aren t so mobile, so there s always a huge variety on the calendar for the year. We ve had a Royal Gorge Train Ride, trip to Cherokee Ranch, Halloween Parties, Bunco Parties, Overdrive racing, educational talks, Full Moon walks and ice cream, trip to the Wolf Preserve, Streetcar and Trolley Museum, Carriage Museum, Garden of the Gods walk and on and on and on. We ll have a January 2019 kick-off luncheon on Saturday, January 12 at 11:30 at LaCasa Fiesta, 230 Front St, Monument to gather suggestions for the next year. We re all about fellowship and keeping track of each other as we age but we re not slowing down in the process. Look for our sign-up sheets in the Great Room!
