ADAM BUDULICA ZASPAO U GOSPODU U četvrtak poslijepodne u Gospodu je zaspao Adam Budulica. Adam je kao dijete dolazio sa roditeljima u St.Albans crkvu. Roditeljima, sestrama, rodbini i prijateljima izražavamo kršćansku sućut s nadom u uskrsnuće. SUBOTA ZA MLADEŽ I ZAJEDNIČKI RUČAK - DANAS Danas prijepodne u sklopu programa za mladež imamo goste Eric and Monique koji će svojim glazbenim talentima objaviti današnju duhovnu poruku. Poseban dragovoljan dar za Eric i Monique biti će skupljan nakon njihovog programa. Nakon bogoslužja pozvani ste na zajednički ručak u crkveni hol. PROGRAMI UDRUGE HRVATSKIH ADVENTISTA Pozivamo sve pjevače i svirače crkvenog orkestra da se koncem siječnja uključe u pripreme i vježbe za odlazak u Sydney 13. do 15. travnja/ April godine gdje će se održati svečani koncert u znak sjećanja na solistu Frederika Milera. U goste će doći i skupina pjevača i predstavnika hrvatske crkve iz Brisbana. Za više informacija obratite se Damiru Posavcu, predsjedniku UHAA-e. Put i smještaj za izvođače je besplatan! MOLITVENI SASTANCI SVAKOG UTORKA NAVEČER U SATI Pozvani ste svakog utorka na redovite molitvene sastanke s početkom u sati. I nadalje imajmo svako veče u 9 sati u svojim molitvama Lindena Borkovića i njegovu obitelj. DOBROTVORNA AKCIJA Svi koji žele pripomoći u školovanju Luke Bucića koji je na drugoj godini teoloških studija u Maruševcu, neka svoj prilog stave u koverticu s naznakom pomoć za Luku. Ovaj mladić iz Vukovara solidan je student čija je majka također pohađala istu školu, a bit će nam posebno zahvalni za podporu Luki! Više informacija možete dobiti od našeg bivšeg pastora Damira. ADAM BUDULICA Adam has passed away peacefully on Thursday at 2:55pm surrounded by those who loved him most. Please continue to send prayers and thoughts to his family and his beautiful partner as they come to terms with this loss. His family are at peace that this is Gods will for Adam and he is now pain free and in a better place. Thank you for your support during this very hard time. 3 Eric & Monique SDA St.Albans 27 th January 2018 The music of Eric & Monique is an exceptional blending of intelligence and beauty. The husband and wife duo are singer-songwriters and musicianaries who write deeply biblical, piano-driven songs that have a genre-blending sound. Being likened to Gungor, All Sons & Daughters and The Brilliance, their original compositions strive to allow space for the Holy Spirit to minister in a setting of lyrical efficiency, a classically tinged piano and vocal harmony commonly found only in siblings. Performing together for the first time in 2009, audiences from around the world have been encouraged by Eric & Monique s live performance that exudes humility and emotional honesty. Their songs and message are filled with God s promises, His love and moving challenges for our spiritual walk that transcends age and cultural divides. Eric & Monique released their début full-length album, Pilgrim in 2010 and since have released two live albums: Live at Psalter Studios (2013, Psalter Music) and Songs of Ascent: Psalm 103 Tour (2014) with Matt & Josie Minikus. Eric & Monique s latest album Everlasting, mastered by Grammy award-winner William Bowden, is encased with motifs inspired by Isaiah 40:28, yet fleshed out in lyrics loaded with gravitas and raw honesty. Musically, it has a cinematic thread woven through elements of folk, pop and alternative sounds underscoring raw and emotional vocals. Since 2009, Eric & Monique have travelled extensively as God has opened doors for their faith- driven music ministry in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Den- mark, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, and throughout Australia. Their music has also been featured on the Austra- lian Christian Channel, Hope Channel, and 3ABN. As they continue to spread the gos- pel through word and song, their prayer and focus is that Christ alone will be lifted up and given all the glory. 4 Eric & Monique are a husband and wife team of Christian musicianaries who have prayerfully decided to use their songwriting to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, to encourage an abiding relationship with Jesus, to promote the necessity of studying God s word, and to spread awareness of Jesus imminent return. Active since 2009, their full-time ministry has taken them all over Australia, New Zealand, USA & Europe. With 24 months of on-the-road music ministry, they have performed 371 concerts throughout 12 countries. The couple has recorded two studio and two live albums and their music has been used on the Australian Christian Channel, Hope Channel, and multiple Christian radio stations worldwide. Eric & Monique s recently released their second studio album which was almost entirely financed through a successful crowd-funding Kickstarter campaign with 155 people backing $16,849. When listening to Eric & Monique you can expect music that carries a timeless message of faith, hope, love, and assurance. They have striven to portray the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, expressed in relevant, personal language and place it in a setting of melody and harmony. The resulting music has been described as deeply biblical, musically stunning, with a sense of reverence, and a gentle, soothing delivery that is heart-warming and authentic. The focus of their concerts are a mixture of word and song; these have been described as a biblically centred worship experience. Their pure, tuneful vocals layer over Eric s skilled piano, conveying the unmistakable, timely truths of creation, redemption and God s love. To hear Eric & Monique s music is to feast, aesthetically and spiritually. Concert at the Youth in Mission Congress, 2014, in Mannheim, Germany in front of an audience of 1,500 people. Three music ministry tours to the United Kingdom and Europe, 2013, 2014 & Multiple music ministry tours throughout five states and one territory of Australia, Three week music ministry tour to New Zealand, A successful crowd-funding campaign for Eric & Monique s second studio album through Kickstarter. 155 people backed the album with a combined $16,849. 5 IT s WORTH A THOUGHT In the Black Hills National Forest of South Dakota are found the four massive sculptures known as Mount Rushmore. One of the men honoured is known for his honesty. You will also find his face on the American $5 bill, which is somewhat appropriate given that his honesty often involved money. If you should travel to the capitol of the USA, there in Washington DC you will find a huge memorial to him. Why all this attention for a young lad born in a one room cabin, whose formal education consisted of just 18 months of schooling? Mainly self-educated Abraham Lincoln was a keen reader, who eventually became a lawyer and finally the 16th president of the USA. However years earlier while living in New Salem, Lincoln bought a business. It was a general store and although he and his partner tried to run it profitably they made some bad choices on investments. Adding to those problems was the mismanagement of the store and after a few months they were out of business! Lincoln s partner died soon after this leaving him with all the debts. Unfortunately, lawyers aren t always known for honesty, and maybe Lincoln knew this because in 1850 he said, Let no young man choosing the law for a calling for a moment yield to the popular belief -- resolve to be honest at all events; and if in your own judgment you cannot be an honest lawyer, resolve to be honest without being a lawyer. Anyway this lawyer / politician promised that he would repay all that he owed. It took Lincoln 15 years but his word was good. Today Lincoln is often associated with honesty and integrity he is also known for his respect for individual and minority rights, and human freedom in general. Around 2000 years ago Jesus stated: He that is faithful in the little things is also faithful in the big things (Luke 16:10) and although Abraham Lincoln did not belong to any church, he still displayed the Christian values that we all admire. He once told a friend, When I do good, I feel good, and when I do bad, I feel bad, and that s my religion. How do you feel? It s worth a thought. A two-year initiative where Adventist churches throughout Victoria are coming together to share the gospel in a unified endeavor across the state. It involves each member coming to Christ in personal renewal and going with Him into the harvest field. This culminates in May of 2019 with a statewide evangelistic meeting hosted by John Bradshaw and Eric Flickinger in four metro venues and streamed for rural communities. Go to for more information. Joining Christ in the Eric and Monique Harvest what is it? A one-week intensive training designed to equip church members how to genuinely love people and introduce them to our Savior, His love and the life-changing principles of His kingdom. The training will be conducted at the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre, February This is an all day, all week event starting Monday evening and finishing Sabbath at tea. Catering is provided for everyone and budget accommodation is offered for those living outside the Eastern Melbourne district. The program has been subsidized so the cost is only $75 for each participant (whether accommodation is needed or not).
