2 PARISH LIFE Wisdom from a Wider World The secret of getting ahead is getting started. Mark Twain St. Clare Parish Mass with Commemoration of the Dead Friday, November 2 nd, 6:30pm, Wrightstown campus. Our recently deceased loved ones will be remembered at this Mass with special blessings and prayers. Our focus is on those who have died in the last year who are dear to any parishioner. The loved one does not need to have been buried from St. Clare parish. The Mass will include the lighting of a vigil candle in memory of your loved one by a family member and taken home as a keepsake. Please be at church before 6:15pm that evening to receive your candle prior to Mass. It is important to confirm your attendance and your loved one s name by contacting the parish office at (920) or office@stclareagw.org by Thursday, November 1 st. There will also be an opportunity to write in names just before Mass, if necessary. Thank you. We served 175 individuals at the NEW Homeless Shelter Meal in September. Additional volunteers are needed for our October 28th meal next Sunday, as well as all of Please contact Kristi Nelson at kristinelson34@gmail.com or call if you are interested in volunteering. Monetary donations toward the cost of the meal are collected at the Parish Office. Thank you for your service & dedication to this Parish service mission. 6 PARISH/COMMUNITY EVENTS Additional Funds Needed for Equipment and Building Repairs Earlier this year, our latest survey requested keeping all of our existing church buildings. At the present time, all three of our Campuses are in need of specific building and/or grounds repairs that need to be maintained in order for our Parish to run efficiently and to meet safety standards. Operating funds are not able to cover all the expenses, so we are looking for your financial help. Maintenance projects in need of additional financial support include: St. Clare Parish Office phone System upgrade with our current 20 year old system, it is more difficult to find replacement parts to implement repairs.
