2 Our mission at EUM Church is: To bring people into a personal and dynamic rela onship with Jesus Christ and to equip and mobilize them for ministry. How do we accomplish this? Through our ministry model of Worship +2! We hope that anyone who a ends EUM finds a place to worship; a small group or class that will help them connect; and a ministry in which to serve. WORSHIP on a regular basis. By a ending regularly, you ll hear relevant messages that communicate the overall vision of the local church and what the Bible has to say to each of us. You ll discover how biblical principles can be applied to your everyday life. CONNECT in a group or class. We believe that life was never meant to be a solo venture and we want you to get plugged in here at EUM. When you do this, you re interac ng with other people, rela onships form, growth happens, and you ll find a place where you re valued and cared for and where you can do the same for others. SERVE others. When you are serving, you are loving others through ac on and you re influencing and inves ng in others both within the church and in the community and beyond. Whether through your small group, class, or with the en re EUM family, take part in serving the world with the gi s God has given you. FAITH ALIVE 8:30 & 9:45 a.m. Chapel Faith Alive is the umbrella name for a variety of courses offered to adults of all ages on Sunday morning. Faith Alive is offered during both 8:30 & 9:45 a.m. worship hours. The curriculum consists of six classes which will be rotated through both hours. Fall 2015 curriculum includes: Laugh Your Way to a Be er Marriage Facilitators: Kurt/Michelle Sholly In the Laugh Your Way to a Be er Marriage video series, Mark Gungor proves that the key to marital bliss is not romance or des ny -- it's work and skill. Couples need to work hard at maintaining their rela onship and to have the skills to pull it off. The Parables of Jesus Facilitator: Dan Petersen Jesus communicated deep spiritual truths through simple, vivid, and engaging stories. Woven from the stuff of everyday life, the parables of Jesus made the kingdom of God understandable and accessible to his listeners. Your Divine Design Facilitator: Karin Kaye Do you know how God has uniquely wired you? Every believer was created to play a strategic role in the body of Christ with the gi s God has given them. But many of today's Chris ans face one difficult ques on - how do I discover my spiritual gi s and then use them effec vely in my church? In this series, you will unpack key passages from Romans, Ephesians, and 1 Corinthians to understand the role of spiritual gi s. Author: Chip Ingram The Bible Jesus Read Facilitator: Noel Cookman This study challenges the percep on that the New Testament is more important than the Old, that the Hebrew Scriptures aren t worth the me they take to read and understand them. As Philip Yancey personally discovered, the Old Testament is full of rewards for the one who embraces its riches. Most important, he says, reading the Scriptures that Jesus so revered gives believers a profound new understanding of Christ, the Cornerstone of the new covenant. The more we comprehend the Old Testament, Yancey writes, the more we comprehend Jesus. WOMEN ON WEDNESDAY 6:30 to 8 p.m. Chapel BREATHE Faciliators: Julie Haase, Rachel Falaschi, & Megan VanKoningsveld One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking me to stop and cease from all the ac vi es and busyness and just breathe. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. We miss the moments because we rush ahead to the next thing. It is me for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God. In the Old Testament, God ins tuted principles and laws that would transform the Israelites' mindset. He didn't just want them legally free; He wanted them to be able to walk in the freedom and enjoy it. So God gave Wednesday Evenings, cont. them many gi s, including boundaries in which to enjoy those gi s. Sabbath was intended as a gi, and it is s ll a gi to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted the concept of Sabbath will change your life. Author: Priscilla Shirer
