Wittenberg Project Update: Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther sparked a reformation that altered our understanding of the Scriptures and God s grace. Preaching Christ crucified and proclaiming the light of the Gospel are at the heart of who we are as Lutherans. Our congregation s partnership in The Wittenberg Project, as a member of the Reformation 500 Club, is providing educational opportunities and Gospel outreach in the birthplace of the Reformation. The Old Latin School in Wittenberg has been restored and is now known as the International Lutheran Center a vessel of learning and Christian outreach providing a beacon of hope in a city where only 15 percent of residents profess to be Christian, and even fewer are active in the life of any church. You can still join in supporting this historic project ahead of the 2017 Reformation anniversary celebrations. Every gift, in any amount, will make a difference.
