To achieve this, our community is committed to some notable priorities: (1) To experience God as a celebrating community through the sacrament of liturgy empowered by the Holy Spirit. (2) To provide a dynamic, scripture-based program of faith formation which enables us to understand the Christian Message and our religious traditions and which prepares us for the challenges of Christian living. (3) To identify and maintain active outreach programs that respond compassionately to the needs of the disadvantaged and the members of our community, and to actively advocate for social justice for our faith community and the broader community. (4) To evangelize, that is to be constantly seeking opportunities to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our world. We seek active participation and a strong commitment from members of all ages. We are committed to be open and responsive to input from members of our community.

3 Dear Parishioners, On Easter night, the Risen Christ leaves His new Church the gift of His peace, peace that is so much more than the absence of conflict. The peace of Christ transforms, re-creates, and renews. It is a peace centered in wisdom, integrity and an attitude of thanksgiving. It is peace born in gratitude and humility, peace that values the hopes and dreams and needs of others over one s own. It is peace that welcomes back the lost, heals the brokenhearted, and respects the dignity of every man, woman and child as a son and daughter of God. May we embrace the gift of such transforming peace in this Easter season and in every season! May our good God bless you and your families with His richest blessings during this grace filled season of Easter! In Christ s love, Divine Mercy Sunday - April 23rd We will celebrate the Feast after the 11:00 a.m. Mass in the Chapel. In a series of revelations to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska in the 1930 s, our Lord called for a special feast day to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. Today, we know that feast as Divine Mercy Sunday, named by Blessed John Paul II at the canonization of St. Faustina on April 30, For more information about this feast day, please go to NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER THURSDAY, MAY 4th 12:10 pm Mass 12:45 pm Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament & Private Prayer Time 2:00 pm Patriotic Rosary for our Government & each of the 50 States 3:00 pm Divine Mercy Chaplet for our country 4:30-6 pm Private Prayer Time 6:00 pm Benediction 1 Timothy 2:1-3 I urge, then, first of all that requests, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made of everyone - for kings, and all those in authority that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior who wants all men to be saved and to know the truth.
