The Fall delivery schedule of deliveries is being prepared. Although our Knights of Columbus orgamzes this effort on behalf of Catholic Charities, anyone can help. You do not need to know the secret handshake and there is no Y-chromosome test. The only requirements are a strong back and the willingness to help. Call Fred Eggers if you are interesting in joining this select group. Here is what it involves. Once every 10 to 12 weeks, you and a partner will pick up 25 boxes of food (800-1,000 pounds total) from Catholic Charities' depot in Front Royal and deliver the boxes to a food pantry in Rappahannock or a neighboring county.
