Part III~ March 5, 2018 at St. Mary s FROM NONE TO NUN Sister Mary Gianna will share the story of her journey to religious life after being a student at the Columbine High School during the shootings there. The annual Parish Share Drive is underway. This year s goal is $52,037. Thank you to everyone that has already made a pledge or given a one time gift. Your yearly support is very much appreciated! News CCD is Cancelled for the weekend of March 5th. We will still be having Bible Camp March 2nd. St. Joseph Table Luncheon Saint Mary s parish and Our Legion of Mary are inviting parishioners, family and friends to attend the St. Joseph Luncheon. We celebrate this day because we are thankful to the Lord for his blessings on our parish and its people. Date: Sunday March 18th, 2018 Time: 12:00PM 2:00PM Place: Saint Mary s Church Hall Menu Lasagna, Meatballs, Chicken Nuggets, Salad, rolls, Dessert, Lemonade and coffee and tea. Cost for Transportation, Show, and Smorgasbord Lunch at the Shady Maple Restaurant is $155/person, (child or adult).. This trip has SOLD OUT! Please pay the remaining balance if you have not done so already. We will be Meeting at 6:00AM on the day of the trip in the Lower Parking Lot at the CCD Building. We will r eturn about 9:3010:00PM that evening. See you then! Ireland Revisited, Again? September 6-16, 2018 The flight to Ireland is a relatively short jaunt across the Atlantic and yet is a flight that is rewarded by what lies on the other side. A peaceful and yet a modern 21st century nation which still maintains the presence of the Ireland of old. Sometimes we see stereotypes on television and movies. These may not be the Ireland of today, yet glimpses of the past can still be seen. As you fly into the Dublin Airport, the plane passes over green fields of sheep grazing peacefully undeterred by the roar of the jets. When the charter coach takes you into Dublin city...we see not only the Dublin of old movies but a bustling city. The contrast is one which very few cities can claim. The other cities on the tour of Ireland, although quaint, are still modern, but try to convey to tourists a spirit of the past. So don t second guess yourself join us as we travel, not to Ireland past, but to the present Ireland with a humble history. You won t be disappointed. If you have been there before, there are some repeats, but not for the first timers. There will be some new places to visit and enjoy. We will also visit the Spiritual Heart of Ireland with Mass at the Apparition Site of Our Lady of Knock in Knock, Ireland.
