Sacrament of Baptism Parents/legal guardians are to contact the office early to arrange sacramental instruction. Upon completion of the preparation program and the requisite paperwork, a date for the celebration of the sacrament will be scheduled. Anointing of the Sick As an aid to comfort and strengthen the sick, the sacrament is administered to those advanced in years, those preparing for surgery and those in danger of death. Contact the parish office to make arrangements. Sacrament of Holy Orders Any Catholic male who feels that God may be calling him to serve His people as a deacon or priest, should talk to the pastor.

Our readings today progress from despair to hope. Job has lost his children, his livelihood, and his health. I shall not see happiness again, he mourns in his lament to God. In the Gospel, the whole town came to Jesus, bringing those who were ill or possessed by demons. They wait patiently, filled with hope. Undoubtedly, we can picture ourselves in both situations. McHugh worship space For the safety of our students, please arrive early to sign in. 7:00 pm Villa of Our Lady Retreat Center Liturgy with Distribution of Ashes This will year's MHT Chili Cook-Off and Nite at The Races be held March 3rd. There will be a live band, food, refreshments, raffle baskets, and fun activities. Tickets and 50/50 chances are being sold after each mass. The Knights are also selling horses for the Races to be held at the Chili Cook-Off. Please stop by the table and help support this fundraising event. Thank you! New Online Giving Most Holy Trinity Parish has a new online giving option. OSV Online Giving makes it easy for us to fulfill our gifts to the parish even when we are unable to attend Mass. We do not need to bring cash or checks to church anymore. It is simple to do, and there are 2 simple ways to do it. The first way is by visiting the parish website ( Click on the online giving button that is found on the home page. The second way for accessing online giving is from our phones. Simply download the app for free from the Apple or Google stores. The name of the app is Online Giving by Our Sunday Visitor. From there it s the same login process as the website. Volunteers Needed As part of the Worship goal of our Parish Pastoral Plan, we offer one decade of the Rosary for the intention of Respect for Human Life. This will begin the weekend of December 2/ after all Masses. We re seeking volunteers who would be interested in leading the decade of the Rosary. Please prayerfully consider participating in the ministry. Sign-up sheets will be available on the table outside of the worship area or by contacting the parish office at or office@mht-poconos.org. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Knights of Columbus Become a Knight Since 1882 Knights have been leaders in charity and Catholic fraternity. Becoming a Knight will change your life and the life of your family. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton, and the Office for Parish Life wish to invite couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversary in 2018 to a diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, June 10. The event includes a 2:30 PM mass at St. Peter s Cathedral followed by a reception. Requests for an invitation, with a mailing address, should be made through your pastor before March 12, 2018

6 COMMUNITY OUTREACH English as a Second Language ESL classes will resume in the Spring of Thank you for your wonderful attendance and participation in our program. Ecumenical Community Meal The purveyor for our Ecumenical Community Meal on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 was Paradise Stream in Mt. Pocono. Their menu consisted of Tomato basil soup, Roasted Vegetables, Chicken with potatoes and peppers in cream sauce, Rice Pilaf, Wheat Rolls, Oreo Cookies, and enjoyed by our 56 guests. MHT Volunteer Team #3 served the meal with Michelle Gonzalez as Team Coordinator, along with Nancy Santi, Pete Santi, Annie Nicastro. Brett Fulton, Vanessa James. Thank you to all involved with this community outreach ministry. Family Promise Of Monroe County Helping homeless families with children AN AMAZING STATISTIC About 90% of families entering the Family Promise Shelter Program return to PERMANENT independent housing within 90 days! Most Holy Trinity Parish is a SUPPORT CHURCH to this amazing process, providing a hot meal and overnight coordination a couple of times a year.
