Rosarian City-wide Communion Breakfast The 34th Annual City-wide Rosary Society Communion Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, April 17. The Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM in The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Church, 32 East 25th Street. The Communion Breakfast will follow at the Chandelier Restaurant. Donation for the Breakfast is $ Information & Tickets: Mary Ann Decha : or Maureen Badaracco: Angels Do Exist!! Two of them showed up this past week and made donations to our Sound System fund! They want to be anonymous. (God knows who you are!) One gave $5,000.00, the other $2, We are grateful and God will reward you! The system is near completion. The overall cost is approximately $35, Perhaps there are more Angels who would like to assist us in this project? There are various components costing $1,000.00; $5, and up. Any contribution will be appreciated! See Msgr. Ron for details Good News!!! The 2017 Mass Intention book for St. John Paul II Parish will open on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 9:30 AM. The bookings will take place in Mt. Carmel Parish Center. Change in Time for Wednesday s Eucharistic Adoration Starting after Easter, the times for Eucharistic Adoration in St. Michael s Church on Wednesdays will be from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM The Novena prayers & Benediction will be at 12:00 Noon and 5:00 PM. The Corporal Acts of Mercy 1. To feed the hungry. 2. To give drink to the thirsty. 3. To clothe the naked. 4. To Shelter the Homeless 5. To visit the sick. 6. To Visit the Imprisoned 7. To bury the dead.

4 Wednesday, April 27, 2016, marks the 2nd anniversary of the Canonization of St. John Paul II. There will be a special Mass that evening at 7:00 PM. The First Class relic of St. John Paul II will be available for veneration. The St. John Paul II Society will be offering Memorial candles for the celebration. Candles can be reserved to commemorate the deceased or to request special Blessings. The offering will be $ The Society will be taking reservations the weekend of April 16 & 17 and the weekend of April 23 & 24. Mercoledù, 27 Aprile 2016, è il Secondo Anniversario della Cannonizazione di San Giovanni Paolo II. Ci sarà una messa speciale quella sera alle 7:00 P.M. Una reliquia di Primera Classe di Giovanni Paolo II sarà disponibile per la venerazzione. La Società Giovanni Paolo II offrirà candele commemorative per la celebrazione. Le candele possono essere riservate per commemorare I defunti o per chiedere delle benedizioni speciali. L offerta saràdi $5.00. La Società accetarà le riservazioni il weekend del 16 e 17 aprile e il weekend del 23 e 24 aprile. W środę, 27 kwietnia 2016 r. będzie miała miejsce druga rocznica kanonizacji naszego rodaka, Jana Pawła II. Z tej okazji Jego relikwie będą dostępne do ucałowania. W weekendy 16&17 oraz 23&24 kwietnia będzie możliwość zarezerwowania świec wotywnych w Waszych intencjach. Ofiara to $5. Ksiądz Proboszcz, wraz z ksieżmi wikariuszami składa serdeczne podziękowania dla Polskiej Szkoły im. Władysława Reymonta w Bayonne: dyrekcji, nauczycielom, rodzicom, a zwłaszcza małym, dzielnym dziewczynkom sypiącym kwiatki podczas procesji rezurekcyjnej w dzień Wielkiej Nocy Wiemy, że nie było łatwo dotrzeć do kościoła na 6:00 AM :). Thank You to our Servers, Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors! Our Choir, led by Dayle Vander Sande, did an exceptional job, as always! The music program for all celebrations was outstanding! We sincerely thank them! We received many acts of generosity this Easter season. Thank You to all for their generous support of our Parish through the Easter Collection! Thank You to the anonymous donors of the new Ciboria and the Paschal Candle! We also received two anonymous donations to the new sound system: $2, & $5, The Friday night Italian Stations of the Cross group took up a collection each week and donated the proceeds ($310.00) to the Parish.
