Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 3:30 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Novenas: Every Tuesday Evening to Saint Anne following the 7:00 pm Mass. Every Thursday Evening to Divine Mercy following the 7:00 pm Mass. Holy Family Academy Open House Sunday, Sept. 16 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM & Monday, Sept. 17 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. All 7th & 8th Grade Students welcome!

4 Societies at Mt. Carmel Mt. Carmel Parish is blessed with many Societies. These organizations contribute to the Spiritual, Social and Material life of our Parish. Perhaps one might be of interest to you! (Over the next few weeks, we will present information on individual societies and explain how you may join.) The Altar Society The Altar Society of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (est. 1930) is a society of women parishioners dedicated to the care, maintenance, and improvement of the Parish Church and, in particular, the Sanctuary and Altar areas. The women care for and maintain the altar linens, seasonally engage in detailed cleaning of the church environment, and provide, with the Pastor s direction and approval, needed liturgical items. The next meeting of the Altar Society will be on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The meeting will begin in Church with Eucharistic Adoration at 6:00 PM. It then continues in the Parish Center Blessed Pope John Paul II Room at 6:45 PM. If interested, please call the rectory. ( ext. 10) The Rosary Society The Rosary Society is dedicated to promoting devotion to our Blessed Mother. They meet on the fourth Sunday of the month at 12:00 Noon in the Parish Center. They are responsible for the promotion of public recitation of the Rosary and care for the Marian Altar during May and October. They join yearly with the City Wide Rosarians for a Mass and Communion Breakfast If interested, please contact Mary Ann Decha at Next Month we will carry information on the Blessed Pope John Paul II Society, the Holy Name Society, the Seniors and the Mt. Volunteer roles include companionship for the patients, emotional support for patient and family, errands and telephone reassurance.
