Escobar + Spiritual Families Voca on Program What is this??? It is the Pilot Program of praying for our seminarians in our archdiocese. Just as we are asked in times of need to pray for a family/friend who is ill, unemployed, etc; the Spiritual Families Vocation Program asks you to pray for a seminarian as he walks on his journey toward the day of his ordination. We ask that you receive the name of a seminarian, add him to your daily prayer list, and pray for him. With all of us praying for them everyday, throughout the day, from the rising of the sun to its setting; we will surround them with a Dome of Prayers! There are no meetings, no phone calls, no books to read. You ill out the form, you will be given a name, you pray. Quick, Easy, Most Powerful! You could offer a Hail Mary for your seminarian, an Our Father, Glory Be or your favorite prayer. Please stop by in the Narthex after Mass and sign in to receive a name. We are continually in need of priests. God bless you for joining our St. James Prayer Engineers and helping us construct our Dome of Prayers for our future priests, archdiocese, and our One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. Have you ever wondered? THE EVERLASTING GIFT RETREAT "A BIRTHMOTHER'S LOVE LASTS FOREVER" AUGUST 15-17, 2014 Responsorial Psalm The Responsorial Psalm follows the silence after the irst reading. Occasionally this is taken from other parts of the Scripture, but ordinarily it is from the Book of Psalms in the Old Testament. It is designed in the form of a dialogue. The cantor sings the antiphon and all repeat it. The verses are sung by the cantor; after each verse the antiphon is sung again by the assembly. Occasionally, for lack of a cantor, the psalm is recited instead of sung. However, the Responsorial Psalm should be sung. Are you interested in joining us for our 2014 The Everlasting Gift Retreat?
