6 From our Pastor UPDATE ON THE STATE OF THE REPAIR AND RENOVATION PROJECTS My Dear Parishioners, I would like to update you on the various repairs and renovation projects that are over due and that are on their way at St. Catherine s now. I am happy to announce that the Bishop has given us permission to begin a St. Catherine s Repair and Renovation fund starting June 1, 2015 for these projects. The total costs for these projects will amount to approximately $400, This fund will be exempt from the Diocesan Taxation under the parish sharing formula. So after seeing all the repairs and renovation projects we have already completed and the projects soon to be completed given below, kindly consider contributing generously to the Repair and Maintenance Fund using the line already on your envelopes so we can replenish our savings for future projects. 9 Small Christian Community Update Due to the overwhelming experience of the Kergyma Evangelization Retreat, Fr. Ignatius has decided to expand our neighborhood communities more rapidly that we have previously planned. Our hope is that the fire of the Holy Spirit will engulf our entire parish as we seek a real, personal relationship with Jesus Christ throughout all of our communities. In order to facilitate this expansion of our neighborhood communities, we are hosting parish gatherings based on where you live at the Parish. Each of our new 18 neighborhoods have been named after the 12 apostles and early Christian leaders.
