2 Z Parish Meeting Y Please mark your calendars to attend a parish Meeting concerning the renovation of the Parish Hall. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We need to have the input of all our members. Altar Server Training Mardi Gras Shrove Tuesday Pancake Party! March 4, :00-8:00pm Cathedral Center Hall Food! Games! Masks! Beads! Feathers! Everyone is Invited to attend The Party! Pancake Supper will be prepared by the Cathedral Men's Club! Pancakes, Sausage, Orange Juice, Coffee, Tea!Cookies! Cupcakes! St. Vincent De Paul will be collecting after Mass TODAY! Current Altar Servers: There will be altar server training for all current altar servers for St. Marys at 10:30am, Saturday, 1 March. This training is mandatory for all current servers who wish to continue serving on the altar. Please Msgr. Brovey if you are unable to attend. Parents are asked to remain for the first 15 minutes of the practice. New Altar Servers: There will be altar server training for new servers at 10:30am, Saturday, 8 March. One must have made his/her First Holy Communion and be in the grades Parents are asked to remain for the first 15 minutes of the practice. Do not waste time bothering whether you love your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this, we find one of the great secrets. Charleston Catholic School News The Charleston Catholic School is now accepting open enrollment. The 21 st Saints Alive Auction will be held March 1 st, at Founders Hall, Charles Towne Landing. The Sacrament of Matrimony Either the bride or the groom must be a practicing Catholic and registered at St. Marys for at least twelve months before scheduling a wedding date and beginning the six months marriage preparation. The bride/groom must be an active parishioner, regularly attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation, and use the envelope system in regular support of the parish.
