Children and youth must have an adult chaperone. Sign up sheet is located in the Gathering Space. Shopping in King of Prussia and Lights at Longwood Gardens The trip is on!! Our MHT bus trip for Christmas shopping and lights at Longwood Gardens is scheduled for Saturday, December 1. There is still time to register! Contact the church office if you missed the sign up sheets. Further information will be provided soon. Welcome Father John O Malley Please welcome Father John J. O Malley, who is speaking at all es this weekend, on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach. This organization was founded to create a meaningful link between parishes in America and the priests and nuns working in the Church overseas in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Central and South America. We hope you are generous in your response to Father s appeal. Brochures are provided if you wish to support this Catholic ministry. Father Mark on Retreat Father Mark will be on retreat from Monday, July 30 until Saturday, August 4, returning for at 5:00 p.m. First Friday visits to our homebound parishioners will be made on Thursday and Friday July 26/27. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue as scheduled on August 3 following an 8:00 a.m. Communion Service. Pray the Rosary All parishioners are invited to honor the Mother of Jesus by praying the rosary twenty minutes before the beginning of on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29. Deacon John Roth Appointed Though Lisa and I may be leaving, MHT is our home parish and we plan to continue to drop in from time to time. Lastly, I personally, want to thank everyone from MHT for making all this even possible and wish each one of you nothing but the best. God bless and rest assured you will forever remain in my prayers. (John) Deacon John Roth has been appointed to Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Mount Union. We are sad to see John leave, and are wholly supportive of his ministry! Meals on Wheels Driver Needed Meals on Wheels is looking for a driver to deliver meals on Mondays Route 5B (in town Huntingdon). Families and the Gospel Mark 6:30-34 In today s gospel, the apostles gathered around and told Jesus all they had done. Listening allows the other person to express, understand, and appreciate their experiences. Whether it is the excited chatter of young children or the repetitious stories of an aging grandparent, listening is important. It is not just time well spent, it is sacred time.

DIOCESAN NEWS AND INFORMATION Saint Anne Triduum A triduum in honor of St Anne will be held July 24, 25, & 26 at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral, 117 Clinton Street, Johnstown. and devotions will be held at 7:00 p.m. each evening with confessions following. Annual Wedding Anniversary es The Annual Wedding Anniversary es for couples celebrating 1, 5, 10, 25, 40, 50, 55, 60+ years of marriage in 2018 will be celebrated on Sunday, September 9 at 2 :00 p.m. at the Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament in Altoona and on Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown. Gift Card sales for the month of June totaled $10,605, showing a profit of $ Total sales for the fiscal year were $160,400 for a profit of $7, Last year s total for the same timeframe were: sales of $156,855 for a profit of $6, Remember that gift cards are available weekly for any type of purchases from a large selection of stores.
