I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. 3

5 On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, And is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again To judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. 11 Please join us for coffee and conversation in the Hall after the service A special Thank you to the ladies who baked and brought desserts for our Parish Lunch last Sunday. The meal was delicious, the company was good, and the fellowship meant a lot to everyone! Also a well deserved shout out to the team that made it happen and who cleaned up! They were Wendy, Philip, Barry, Marg, Barb, Grant and Suzanne. We look forward to our next meal together on June 10 th at our Parish BBQ. Put it on your calendar you won t want to miss it! Missional Outreach will be hosting a Spring Muffin tea and Bake Sale on Saturday, June to 11.30am. Consider what kind of baking you could offer for our fundraising - various types of muffins and variety of squares, cookies, cakes, pies for our bake sale. Deanery Day in Millbrook on Thursday May 24 th where Maisie Watson will be speaking about Peterborough Housing s Homeward Bound Program, a multi-facetted four year wrap around program for single mother led families. Please see letter on bulletin board. PAG. It has come to our attention that some PAG payments have not gone through and been processed. Could you please check your pledged payment to make sure it has been processed. We have had several payments over the last few months suddenly stop for unknown reasons. Please let Hermione know in the office if you have any unexplained changes. Thank you. Library News: I have been sorting through the library, finding out what s really there. There are a lot of resources that I have put on a bookcase at the back of the church. I urge people to have a look at what s back there, with a view to using it and returning it, or giving it a new home. There s a set of cassette tapes which include the whole Bible for those who are visually impaired. There are Lenten study guides from years past. Please help yourself. Val Keelan. As a special contribution to the Eucharist on June 3 rd, the choir will sing Vivaldi s Gloria. This is one of the best loved choral works of the Italian Baroque period, and was written for Vivaldi s choir at the orphanage Pio Ospedale della Pieta.
