Ruth Monette The Apostles Creed: BAS p. 189 Presider: Let us confess the faith of our baptism, as we say All: I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. KITCHEN PLANNING TEAM: We are looking for 1-2 people who are keen to see St Timothy s put the newly renovated kitchen to great use to meet with Pastor Ruth to look at what needs to happen next to make that happen. MID-WEEK EUCHARIST: The midweek Eucharist continues on Wednesdays at 10 am. All who are able are welcome to attend this simple, short Eucharist service. PLANNED GIVING INFORMATION: Updated information booklets on making donations as part of your estate planning are available in the entryway. CONTACT PASTOR RUTH: The Rev. Ruth Monette welcomes the opportunity to get to know each of you. She can be reached by at priest@sainttimothy.ca and by phone in the church office, Pastor Ruth is generally in the office by 9:30 am Monday to Thursday. KITCHEN SHOWER: Sunday, June 11, 11:30 am - Join us after church to shower the renovated kitchen with those final items that will make it easier and more fun to cook in it. PRAYERS IN OUR PARISH: Please be in touch with Pastor Ruth if you have asked for someone to be included in the Prayers of the People, and want that to continue. We intend to edit the list of names included after Pentecost. NINE DAYS OF PRAYER BOOKLET: Thy Kingdom Come is a global wave of prayer taking place between the Feast of the Ascension & the Feast of Pentecost. Rooted in work by the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury & York, it is an invitation for Christians to pray for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. A resource prayer booklet, NINE DAYS OF PRAYER, is available in the Narthex, if you would like to participate.
