Sign-ups: K-5 faith formation and youth ministry sign-ups will begin soon. All sign-ups will be completed online this year so please look for further information in the upcoming weeks. If your child is not currently a part of the K-5 or youth ministry program and you would like to register them for the upcoming year, please contact Brian Lohr. Children in Kindergarten: If your child is going into kindergarten this school year, we would love to invite them to the K-5 faith formation program at Holy Cross. Please contact Brian Lohr for more information on how to sign them up for our kindergarten class. Sacramental Preparation: Children going into 2 nd grade this year will celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Children going into 8 th grade will celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation. If your child has not recently been involved with faith formation/youth ministry and you would like for them to be involved in the sacramental preparation process, please contact Brian Lohr. These apply to anyone 18 and older and must be completed before you can volunteer. There are six clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check; PA Child Abuse History Certification; Volunteer Affidavit (PA residency of 10 or more years) [FBI Fingerprints for PA residency of less than 10 years]; Mandated Reporter Training; Virtus/Protecting God s Children; 2015 Greensburg Diocese Code of Pastoral Conduct.
