Homeopathy is the treatment of disease by minute doses of natural substances that in a healthy person would produce symptoms of disease. This medical system based on the belief that the body can cure itself. Those who practice it use tiny amounts of natural substances, like plants and minerals. It was created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann, based on his doctrine of like cures like (similia similibus curentur), a claim that a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people. Neurofeedback is direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more efficiently. We observe the brain in action from moment to moment. We show that information back to the person. And we reward the brain for changing its own activity to more appropriate patterns. Electrodes are applied to the scalp to listen in on brainwave activity. It can help severely disruptive behavior disorders such as Conduct Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, Autistic spectrum and pervasive developmental delay, Cerebral palsy, Acquired brain injury, Birth trauma, Bed wetting, Sleep walking, teeth grinding, Drug abuse, Suicidal behavior, Anxiety and depression. Also, if you get a chance, look up the information about LifeLine Technique. Dr. Darren Weissman developed this technique using the heart symbol. for "I love you " in sign language.. This technique was quoted in Dr. Masaru Emoto's book The Healing Power of Water. When you place the heart symbol over your heart and say, "Infinite Love and Gratitude" this is very powerful. Infinite Love and Gratitude, Joanne Verone From TPA to Bob Yavits and his family with great love: Dear Bob, We CELEBRATE with you the life of your beloved wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Betsy (Patterson) Yavits, now your angel in heaven. For months, our TPA community has intended and prayed together for Betsy s comfort and good health. As well stated in her obituary, Betsy lived a deeply spiritual life with a deep connection to God and her family. She was passionate about genealogy and expressed her immense creativity through many endeavors, including bead work. Tenderhearted and caring, Betsy was loved for her gentle nature. All who knew Betsy will remember her warm, caring smile. And, for those of us present at our April 2018 TPA meeting, Answering Avalon s Call: Honoring the Pilgrim s Path with Carol Ohmart Behan, you may remember Betsy gifting us with the Closing Circle at that meeting. Betsy is survived by her husband Bob Yavits, daughter Lillian Yavits, brother George Patterson, and grandsons Owen, Theodore, and Gage. She is preceded in death by her son Travis Yavits. 4 INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR NEAR DEATH STUDIES The meeting will be at the North Syracuse Community Center, 700 South Bay Road, in North Syracuse. There will be a $10 donation for this event. The doors open at 6 and the meeting will begin at 6:30. Richard Hudson Richard Hughson had an out-of-body and outside-of-time experience during a near car accident at the age of 18. Intrigued but disappointed by what he found in religions he began searching for, What's really going on? In 1991 he met Tom Sawyer, a near-death experiencer who could give the clear spiritual answers he longed for. With this friendship a door opened to remarkable healings, further outside-of-time experiences, after death communications, the awareness of grand and mundane spiritual responsibilities, and the knowledge of a purpose for life. The RoseHeart Center s Channelling Class At the Loka Leaf Tea lounge 76 Albany Street Cazenovia, NY Class runs 6:30-8:30. The fee is $25 per person, per class. This is an ongoing group that has been meeting for the past year. However, new members are always welcome. Even if you have never done anything like this before, you will find a seat and a supportive community. Each class will include instruction and guidance about channelling, a chance to practice with each other, and a cup of tea. If there is time, there will also be a demonstration of a channeled reading for another person, with one of the class members receiving a free session from Virginia. Pre-registration is required. What does your air look like? The aura is an electro-magnetic field of subtle, luminous radiation supposedly surrounding or emanating from a person or object (like the halo or aureola of religious art). The aura is associated with the physical body and the energy fields that are around the body. In this class we will explore what auras are, how they are effected by our physical health, our state of mind, and can be used to a source of information about our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Within our bodies there are focal points of energy that are associated with the vital organs that keep our bodies functional and healthy. These focal points are called Chakras. The 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body in which energy flows through. Chakra (singular is chakrum) is a Sanskrit word for wheels or disks, and signifies the seven basic energy centers in the body. They are associated with the aura and can offer guidance for our health and well-being. 6 Joanne Verone, an instructor at the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage, gave a wonderful presentation on the BEMER (Bio-Electro- Magnetic-Energy-Regulation Therapy). She also treated several of our members to a relaxing session with the BEMER, a FDA Class 1 Medical Device. Since she became involved with the BEMER, she has been amazed at what it is capable of doing for our body. Since she has been using the unit, she has more energy and clarity of thinking. Hope to see you again.....kate Farrar and her grandson Thomas spent 2 days in Paris with granddaughter Elsie, visiting the Louvre, Monmartre, Notre Dame, and even a boat ride on the Seine and viewing Paris by night from the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Then it was on down to Ars to spend time with their newfound famiy in the French countryside. Aubusson is a little town close to Ars, which is famous for it s Tapestry Museum. George Sands had a chateaux close by, where she lived with Chopin and ordered her carpets from there. A previous mayor of NYC ordered a tapestry to be made commemorating 9/11. It now hangs in St John s Cathedral in the Bronx..Virginia (Kiki) Waldron recently visited her daughter and 2-year-old grandson in Virginia. She is also celebrating a newborn granddaughter who is only a few weeks old! See her upcoming events at Roseheart on pgs. 2 & 3..There is a happy update on Aziz Goksel. He has now been through at least 5 chemo treatments. The treatments are going well and he is working again on his music in between. Much of his family is in Istanbul (living there or visiting) and they have been having great family dinners at Aziz s favorite restaurant....nice to see some new and old faces at our meeting. Hope to see you again!...monica Fricke has been weeding out some of her belongings. If you have ever visited her apartment, you know that it is rich in art and lovely European decorations. She has a small Christmas tree that she is hoping to sell to some lucky person. There are also lots of beautiful old world ornaments. We had some glitches (low water because of drought in Europe, a little illness), but saw fabulous places from Amsterdam down to Romania, ate extremely well and had wonderful tour guides everywhere!
