Join us for 4 weeks in tropical paradise as we grow and learn to become internationally recognised Yoga Teachers. 4 Dr Gaurav Malik Ph.D in Yoga (Pranayama),Masters in Human Consciousness and a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Teaching, 10 years of university study and as many years teaching. Guiding you through experience along your Yoga journey. Main interests: Giving love & guidance, treating each other and ourselves better. Loves Ayurveda & chocolate. Kate Malik 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher & Psychology student. Australian/English living in India for the past 4 years in India. Passionate about introducing people to the amazing Yoga lifestyle and helping bridge the gap between Eastern & Western practice. Main interests: Newbies, philosophy of Yoga, Kundalini Meditation.

5 Yoga Style Gaurav has been trained for 10 years at the worlds oldest ashram style university of yoga. He brings to the 200 hour yoga teacher training program the ancient understandings and traditional wisdom and techniques of Yoga. Yoga is a Sanskrit word which means union, it is a complete path to enlightenment. Yoga practice includes things such as meditation, breath and lifestyle, along with the Yoga postures. We follow Patanjali s 8 limbs of Yoga. Hatha Yoga is the root of all modern yoga. We provide a strong foundation in traditional practice and understanding. Students are trained to teach Yoga in the West.

6 Graduates of this program can teach hatha, hatha flow, vinyasa Flow and a power yoga style classes when you return home. 72 yoga asana postures are covered in details during the course including adjustment and alignment theory and practice as well as meditation techniques you can bring into your classes and your life. We are proud of our graduates high rate of teaching. We want to give you an experience of authentic yoga which you will want to share from your heart with your own students. We understand that the best teachers are really just sharers of their experience and we want to share ours with you.

7 How much does this cost? 2100USD 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course Fee *1950USD Earlybird Fee - book now! Course fees include course material, all classes, on-going teacher support, one-on-one consultation with lead trainer, breakfast on class days Monday to Friday and signed certificate accredited by the Yoga Alliance upon completion of the course. Course does not include flights, accommodation or lunch/dinner, various restaurants available serving Thai and Western food. A typical meals costs $4/8USD. *Earlybird price If booked 3 months before course commencement.

13 Siam Healing Centre A beautiful sanctuary located on Koh Phangan island, Thailand. The closest airport is Koh Samui, and a ferry is taken to Koh Phangan. 94/3 Thong Sala, Surrat Thani, Ko Pha-ngan, 84280, Thailand

14 SIam s Rooms AC Rooms 16, 00 Baht 1 month stay + electricity usage. Self-contained, cleaned weekly. Includes mini kitchen, private bathroom & large balcony. Location, a few metres from the yoga classes.

17 Optional adventures! Thai cooking course: A must do in Thailand. Learn about the herbs and spices of Thai cuisine. So delicious and healthy! Island Excursions: Spend a day on a private boat touring the islands and going snorkelling!

If you only bring two things, bring those! You won t need: heels, enclosed shoes, tight clothing, anything too fancy, hair straightener, or blow-dryer.

20 money Local currency is Thai Baht. Visa or Mastercard & other internationally recognised card this can be used in the local nearby ATMS. 7/11 supermarkets in walking distance.

21 Remaining Course Fees can be paid via international bank transfer, we prefer Transferwise into our Ashtak Yoga School bank account > Alternatively you can pay the fees in USD, Euro, GBP, AUD or Indian Rupee equivalent in cash on arrival. PayPal transfers are subject 5% additional transaction fee. Visa & course payment 30 Days Visa on Arrival Our course is 26 days allowing you to use this service. 3 month tourist visas can be organised through your local Thai Embassy. Make sure your passport has AT LEAST 6 month validity at time of travel.

22 how TO GET THERE. Koh Phangan is 70 kms from mainland Thailand & Surat Thani Airport and about 12 kms away from Koh Samui Island & International Airport, the closest airport. From both airports a ferry transfer to Koh Phangan is required and can be organised upon arrival INSIDE the airport. How How much money will I need? It is advisable to budget average 600 baht a day for food (good eats are cheap!)

23 Yoga teaching training with Ashtak Yoga was the best thing I ve ever done. I was a little apprehensive at first, I had the usual thoughts ( I might not be good enough at yoga etc) but my concerns were totally unfounded. 25 To say that training with Ashtak yoga was a life changing experience sounds trite & cliched but I know of no other words to use. I am not the same person I was before I took this course. It was a big decision to head to India for a month. I am mothering four young children & leaving them for several weeks took a lot of delicate planning & heaps of trust that what I would gain would be worth it. It was more than worth it. Gaurav is a dedicated teacher, his knowledge vast and practical application intuitive & complete. I took this course to increase my understanding of yoga but was apprehensive about teaching because I can t do 5 minute handstands on a tropical beach. Now I feel more than prepared to use my natural gifts & personality to teach whole yoga, all the limbs. I love asana & love watching dedicated practitioners master olympic grade feats of balance and strength. But I am just as amazed at being a part of a community that enters the internal world of the heart & does the messy, scary, beautiful work of becoming a person who is truly unified with themselves, body & soul.
