Raising Funds for Mark Family As you heard, Rabbi Micki Mark, Hy"d, was murdered last week by Arab terrorists. He served for many years as Executive Director of Yeshiva Torat Shraga and had a profound impact on the lives of many of our young people. He was a pillar of chesed in his community of Otniel and a source of both financial and emotional support to other families who lost loved ones in terror attacks.he leaves behind his wife, Chavi, who is

4 recovering from injuries she sustained in the terrorist attack, as well as ten children and four grandchildren. As the children are now afraid to travel, a campaign has been started to raise funds to support the family through the purchase of a bullet proof vehicle. All donations are tax deductible in the US and the campaign will end once the goal of $200,000 is met. Chai Lifeline Fundraiser Weitzner Shmuel Weitzner will be raising funds in support of Chai Lifeline through a 170 mile Bike4Chai ride on August 3rd and 4th through three states to Camp Simcha in memory of his dear daughter, Chaya Sorah, a h, and his beloved father, Rabbi Nachum Avigdor Weitzner, zt l. Camp Simcha is an amazing overnight summer camp, run by Chai Lifeline, designed to meet the medical and social needs of children and teens with cancer and other serious illnesses. Donated custom sheitels, some brand-new, some gently worn, are sold to women in Israel who would not otherwise have the funds to buy a quality wig.
