3 TWO-FISTED MAIN EVENT, April 13, 6:30-9:30 p.m. This is an excellent Men s outreach event for ages 18 and up. Enjoy some fun with Knockerball SMASH, pizza and soda. Meet Lance Benoist, a UFC mixed martial Arts Fighter. He will demonstrate his boxing style and share his love for the Lord. Programs are offered during all three service times for babies through grade 5. SHIPWRECKED VBS: RESCUED BY JESUS Mark your calendars for June as we sail away on an island adventure. Shipwrecked is for kids ages 3 through grade 5 and will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon each day. Sail away with us as we discover that Jesus rescues! COMMUNITY CHILDREN S MUSICAL- UNSELFIE All children going into 1st - 6th grades in are invited to be a part of this year s musical. He is currently on the liver transplant list and is patiently waiting our God s timing for that perfect liver. Shelley Edelman - Pray for family members who heard the gospel during Passover Seder. Pray for Marsh, Mark, Elizabeth, Steve, Larry, Tom, and David. Pray they each see their need for a Savior and receive Jesus for salvation! Thank you for your prayers. Gail Glover asks for prayers for a good doctor s appointment for Mike who is dealing with knee issues. Praise God for all of the people who attended the Easter activities here at Grace. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to water the seeds that were planted. Thank God for his grace and his salvation plan. Jane Liebach recently had back surgery that included fusion and a rod and some screws. Pray for a complete and quick recovery with no complications. Helen Smith asks for prayers for healing from serious health issues for Cynthia Cooper. Pray for the antibiotics to work on a very serious infection in Phyllis Borgardt s small intestines. Please continue to pray as plans for Finish The Job continue to move forward. We have been meeting with our architects, who are working on plans. We consulted two Commercial Kitchen Designers for further help. Work will include our kitchen, Hope Hall, and our children s area, including partitioning the music room to provide a 5th grade classroom. We are nearing the end of another Awana year here at Grace. Please continue to pray for God to work in the hearts of the 295 youth who were a part of this year s program. May they carry the verses they ve memorized in their hearts now and always. Remember our graduating High School and College students in your prayers. Pray for God s guidance as they make decisions regarding their futures. Ask God to supply jobs for those in our congregation who are seeking employment. Our love and sympathy to Mike and Jennifer Hill on the passing of Jennifer s mom, Theresa See. Visitation will be Friday, April 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Our love and sympathy to Glenn and Betsy Stahlman on the homegoing of Glenn s brother. Services were held Saturday out of state. Pray for God s comfort and peace for Glenn s sister Carol and niece Kathy.
