2 Welcome to worship with Bethel Church. Like sheep that have been lost in a storm, we have been drawn here today by a loving God who goes out of His way to reach out to us. As we worship this God together, may our hearts be filled with gratitude and praise. We especially are thankful for the gift of God's Son, Jesus, who came to this earth to seek and to save us. We will remember the cost to Him as we celebrate the Lord's Supper. If you are trusting in Jesus to save you from your sin and are seeing evidence that sin is losing it's grip on you, please take some bread and juice and celebrate with us. PRAY WITH US FOR OUR CONGREGATION & COMMUNITY - We would love to have you join us tonight at 6:00pm in the Gathering Place for prayer. We will be praying our own concerns as well as the concerns of our congregation and community. SECOND OFFERING TODAY COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL GENERAL FUND - Your gifts help enhance student programs, improve technology, aid in staff development, and allow for improvements to the facilities. Together, we are part of God s amazing work and support CCS as it provides a loving community that spiritually and academically equips, challenges and inspires students to impact their world for Christ. Thank you for your prayers and your ongoing financial support of CCS. CLASSIS MEETING MARCH 4 & 5 Pastor Cal and Elder Rob Braun will be representing our congregation at the semi-annual Classis meeting this Monday and Tuesday. Please keep our Classis (regional gathering of CRC churches) in your prayers as we meet to deliberate, to pray and to encourage each other. MEN TO ACTION INVITE YOU tomorrow night, March 4 at 7:00pm to view End of the Spear in the Gathering Place. A missionary group journeys to the heart of the Amazon jungle in search of the Waodani, a tribe of fierce warriors completely isolated from civilization. Join us for this powerful tale of sacrifice, courage and redemption! Contact Bob Olson, if questions. THIS COMING WEEKEND IS OUR ADULT RETREAT - Let's commit together to pray for the attendees, that they have a great time of learning and enjoying each other and God's creation. Let's also pray for Scott Ritzema, who will be speaking about the calling on each one of our lives to be "fishers of men." If you have found a way to fit the retreat into your schedule, please talk with Jeff Rice or Heather Kittok TODAY! Retreat Attendees: Check your mailboxes today for information on the weekend! ELDER AND DEACON NOMINATIONS - At the March Council meeting we will continue our discussions on the nomination process for three-year terms for both Elders and Deacons. If you have someone that you would like to have considered to serve in this way, please speak to your Elder, Deacon or place the names in the Elder mailbox in the coatroom. Reminder: men and women are eligible to serve in all offices at Bethel.

3 FLOWERING PLANTS will fill our Worship Center on Easter Sunday! We are taking orders and would appreciate hearing from you soon! The order forms are on the front table in the Gathering Place. Deadline for orders is March 10 th. Contact the Bethel Office if you have any questions. Thank you! PINEWOOD DERBY CAR RACE AND POTLUCK Sunday, March 17 - The GEMS & Boys Club will be having their Pinewood Derby Car Race in March! They extend an invitation to the rest of the congregation to join them in participating in the race after our worship service. We will join together for a potluck and then move on to the race. We would love to see you all there to either participate or to cheer everyone on! Talk to Greg Schiebout if you have any questions. PRAYER is such an important part of the Bethel s ministry. It is our privilege and responsibility to lift up Pastor Cal, our Council, our fellow members and friends in many ministries in daily prayer. Psalm 5:3 reminds us that God hears our prayers in the morning; we will look up to Him and pray. The effectual prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. James 5:16b. The Wednesday morning prayer group is asking God to send us more prayer partners who will help to pray for Bethel and its ministries. Please consider coming every Wednesday at 7:00am to Bethel. You will receive a blessing as well as be a blessing! Call Norma, with questions.
