2 On this third Sunday of Lent, we welcome all who worship with us. We trust you will find worshipping with us to be glorifying to God and of spiritual value personally. We welcome Pastor Arlan Koppendrayer who will lead our worship today and through the season of Lent. Classis Lake Superior will meet in regular session tomorrow afternoon and Tuesday at Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Edina, MN. Elders Bill Ruis and Morris Droogsma will represent our congregation. Your offering on March 10 will be received for the Milaca Area Food Pantry, on March 17- Hope Haven, March 24-Building Fund, March 29-(Good Friday) Pearl Crisis Center and March 31 (Easter) Home Missions. Our church is participating in the 2013 Minnesota Food Share Campaign. The goal is to raise enough money to provide more than half the food distributed annually by food shelves statewide. Your cash donations for the Milaca Area Food Panty are welcome until the end of March. A collection box is in the foyer. Anyone interested in ordering a 2013 Yearbook should contact the church office. This publication contains statistics and notes on the Christian Reformed Churches in North America, ministers and ministries. Cost is $ Our Church Family Congratulations to Flo Van De Riet and Grace Benedict who will both be celebrating their 87th birthday on Tuesday, March 5. John Cramer fell on Tuesday, injuring his hip. He was a patient in the St. Cloud Hospital and then became a resident of the VA Center in St. Cloud to receive therapy. Betty Droogsma is happy to be back at her home in Country Meadows. During these long winter months, please remember those with limited mobility, or shut-ins especially in the Elim Home. Adult Sunday School: Both classes today. 3 The Guatemala Team meets this Wednesday at Julee Moorlag's house, 6:30 pm. We will plan our presentation for March 17. Bring along your evaluation forms for World Renew. Guatemala Coffee is available for you to buy this morning after worship. A table will be set up by the church office. Whole bean and ground coffee packages available at $12.00 each. Our Coffee Break Bible Study Group will be selling Easter flowers to help enhance our worship on Easter Sunday morning. Many beautiful flowers decorated our sanctuary last year. This is a fund raiser for Coffee Break. Please take time to fill out the order form that is inserted in this worship folder and return it to the church office or drop it in the offering plate. Circles of Hope, Thursday, March 7, 6:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca Volunteers are needed to help set-up at the Milaca Business Expo this Friday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. See Sheryll. The Power Team is a nationally known, evangelistic organization that takes communities by storm with their high-energy presentations of the gospel. They are coming to the Milaca community! They will be here at PCRC the evening of March 20. This is a presentation for all ages. Kids to adults will be challenged to rely on the power of God and learn how to help The Power Team reach the lost and hurting of our community. Throughout that weekend, The Power Team will be holding rallies in the school and for the entire community. Our church has been asked to help provide volunteers for set-up, take down and other various jobs, as well as volunteers who are willing to provide guidance to those who turn their lives over to Christ because of the Gospel message they will hear. The youth groups are wondering who can donate the most peanut butter to the Milaca Area Food Pantry! The winner will be presented with the coveted Peanut Butter Cup! There will be bins for each Household in the back of church for the rest of March. The Peanut Butter Cup will be presented the first Sunday in April to the winner of the challenge. Let s see how much peanut butter we can collect for the food pantry and have some fun doing it!

4 A reminder that there are many bowls and pans in the church kitchen. Please pick them up soon! New Pictorial Directories are in. Distribution will start today after church. Look for the table in the foyer. Our website has a new look. Check it out at: Praying for our Local Ministries: This week we ask God s blessing on the Mille Lacs County Jail Ministry. The pastors of the Milaca Ministerial as well as Marlin Wolbert, Ruth Ann Kragt, Carol Sahlstrom, the Gideons and others who minster in the name of Christ on Sunday and during the week to the men and women who are incarcerated there. Guatemala Prayer: Please pray for Diego and Graciela who live in San Juan. They would like to reach out to people in their community and start a church. May God bless their work and use the Bibles from the Pease Mission Society to spread the Good News. Valley Male Chorus of Rock Valley, IA will present a sacred music concert during our morning worship service on Sunday, March 17. A free-will offering will be taken for the benefit of children and adults with disabilities who are currently receiving services at Hope Haven both locally and around the world. 6 Requested Announcements Power Team Prayer Coffee this week will be held tomorrow, March 4, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Milaca Baptist Church. Community Christian School of Pease will be presenting their spring play "Stone Soup" March 7 & 8 at the Bethel Church in Princeton at 7:00 p.m. each evening. Please plan to join us for a delightful evening as our students entertain you. Next year will mark the Centennial of Community Christian School. We are so thankful for God's faithfulness! As we move into the next century, we are working hard to be innovative and grow our school. To learn more about some of the exciting changes coming to CCS, we would like to invite all supporters to attend our Town Hall meetings at CCS on Monday, March 11th at 7:11 p.m. or Thursday, March 14th at 7:14 p.m. If you would like more information regarding these meetings, please contact Dick Ritzema or Amy Banks at the school office at Churches Praying For Churches We would like to thank God for Classis Lake Superior that has been faithfully supporting New Life Church Ministry through all these years by prayer, financial and fellowship. We are so humbly grateful. Since November 2012 many of our church members have lost their jobs due to operation shut down and lack of jobs. Please pray for employment opportunities. The last week of March 2013 we will begin to elect our new Elders and Deacons who will serve in the next two year term. Please pray that God may bless us with the servant leadership people who really have a heart for serving the Lord.
