Responsibilities include preparing the mass binder, church bulletin, managing all communication outlets; manage parish website, serves to provide support to all staff, parish ministries and organizations and data entry of all registration. This person should have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as possess strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint. ParishSOFT Family Suite experience is a plus, but not required. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of two years office experience and knowledge of the Catholic faith and an active, practicing Catholic. 5 THIRTY-FIRST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 5 #igivecatholic campaign Last year's #igivecatholic campaign was a tremendous success as we raised $11,000. We were able to make much needed improvements to the Parish Hall, including painting and purchasing new chairs... new carpet was also donated. This year we would like to continue these improvements to include new video equipment in the Parish Hall as well as the vestibule. Also, we would like to start work on converting one of our classrooms to a hospitality room. This one-day online campaign, November 27 th, is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back. Your tax-deductible donation will be accepted at igivecatholic.org during a 24-hour period on #GivingTuesday, Nov. 27 th. SVDP Canned Food Drive St. Vincent de Paul will be having a food drive on November 4th and 11th. Please place your dontations in the boxes in the Narthex. NOTE: No food in glass containers, alcohol, tobacco or perishable items. NEEDS are Oatmeal Boxes, Instant Grits, Pasta Sauce, Pasta, Canned Soup, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Tuna, Canned Chicken, Canned Vegetables, Ramen Noodles, Crackers, Macaroni and Cheese, Rice, Dried Beans, Canned Fruit, Canned Beans, Cans of Ravioli or similar meat, Toilet Paper, Bath Soap. Thank you so much for your support! Thanksgiving food baskets St. Vincent de Paul will be distributing Thanksgiving food baskets to those in need in our community. The Sale begins on Black Friday (November 23rd). All profits will be used for local charities. Open weekends 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and week nights 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Trees vary between 5 to 11 ft size Fundraising Banquet The First Choice Women s Center invites you for the 2018 Fundraising Banquet on Tuesday, November 13th 2018 in the Del avant Event Center for Dinner and Program from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Seating begins at 6:30pm. In years past, this has been a very enjoyable evening with a wonderful, catered meal, very motivational guest speaker(s) - this year Roland Warren and a good feeling of being a part of something important. As a member of St. Peter s, Theresa Shane and her husband have been sponsoring a table(s) for the past few years and would love to have you join them.
