ZOERNER HEAD BUSINESS STAFF New Officers Tke Up Work Immeditely After Spring Vction The nnul business meeting nd the election of Stff members for the next Anchor yer ws held lst week Mondy evening in Winnts Chpel. The lrge ttendnce of Assocition members t the meeting ws indictive of the interest tken by the student body in the Anchor. The meeting opened with the report of the Business Mnger. His report gve n indiction of highly successful business footing on which the Anchor hs been plced during the yer. Not only ws the Anchor entirely self-supporting during the pst yer but, more thn tht, it ws ble to reduce by more thn hlf its debt of previous yers. The work of Mr. John Flikkem, s Business Mnger, cnnot be too highly prised. This report ws followed by the election of members for the new stff. There were severl likely cndidtes for Editor-in-Chief, but on the second bllot Dn De Grf ws elected by considerble mjority, indicting tht Mr. De Grf goes into office with the support of the studentry behind him. Mr. DeGrt is member of the clss of 23. Miss Johnn Vnder Spek nd Hrold Dmstr were elected to the position of Associte Editor. Mr. Jerry De Vries, 23, heds the Business Deprtment next yer. After some discussion it ws decided to enlrge the officil Business Deprtment by the ddition of Circultion Mnger. This ws upon th suggestion of the present Business Mnger, who found tht it took too much of students time to tke chrge of both dvertising nd circultion. Mr. Wm. Zoermer ws elected circultion mnger.
