She says: TRANSLATION Dank Gott fer dei Mammi Thank God for your mommy Weil sie hot dich lieb; Because she loves you; Sei yo schmaut un achtsaam, Be smart and attentive, Schunnscht watt sie bedriebt. Or else she'll be sad. Sie iss sanft un freindlich, She is gentle and friendly, Gebt acht wie dir's geht; Cares for how things are going for you; Niemand weess wie Gott dutt No one knows like God knows Was en Mammi meent. What a mother means. Willich zu vergewwe Willing to forgive Wann mer letz deduh; When you have done wrong; Helft uff hadde Weege, Helps us on tough ways, Gebt ihre Graft dezu. Gives her strength to us. Sie fiehlt unser Driebsaal, She feels our sadness, Sie deelt unser Freeht; She shares our joys; 'S iss niemand ass die Mammi There's nobody except Mommy Ass so ebbes deet. That would do such a thing. 2
3 Nau wolle mer re danke Fer all was sie geduh; Sarrige, helfe, leide Alsfatt unne Ruh. Kummt ihr Lewesowet As dann mit der Zeit, Wolle mer re beischteh-- Sie waar yo so gedrei.
