2 Lay Leader Message to the Community During this past K-113 Men s weekend, we heard of the many miracles and blessings the Lord bestowed upon the 13 new Koinonian s and team. There is always an outpouring of love and generosity that overflows throughout these weekends. I m also very excited to share as we prepare for the March Women s weekend we will have 23 candidates. With this many candidates we need additional servant leaders and helpers to keep Westside Konionia strong and growing. Afterall, our real treasurers are stored up in heaven for how we serve our fellow brothers and sisters here and now. If you could remember back when you had your first retreat weekend, there were so many Koinonians behind the scenes that made your weekend a blessing and lifelong memory that will last forever. Please consider spending a few hours during the upcoming Women s weekend serving in the Kitchen or helping set up classrooms and most importantly signing up on-line for the Prayer wheel. Without the much needed help these weekends would not be possible. Thank you in advance for your dedication and service in making these weekends possible. Please refer to the Newletter and Facebook page for further instructions on how to serve. I hope you will continue to expect great things from God, especially everlasting life in Heaven and to be in the presence of Jesus for all of eternity! 4 Rector s Report for K-114 : BELOVED Bel ved Romans 9:25 As indeed He says in Hosea: I will call those who were not My people, My people, and her who was not beloved, Beloved We are down to the final countdown. Twenty-four more days! We had our Second Talk Meeting on March 2 nd. Our day was filled with Power-filled talks, prayer and worship. Our next meeting is scheduled for March 9, We will be making Palanca bags and be commissioned. 5 Rector s Report for K-113 REBOOT I would like to personally thank you for your prayers and support for this weekend. It was my honor to lead the men of K-113 as their Rector, guided by God s spirit. With the close of K-113, we saw a lot of spiritual attack from changes at the last moments, to sickness of team members, to being short handed at times, to wind storms, missing the small details, and the car accident my wife was involved in. With all said and done, we had an AWESOME weekend! God was here and lives were changed. Each of the thirteen candidates and nineteen team members had an encounter with the living God. Our time with Palanca, at the cross, and reflections brought us closer to God and a rebooted relationship. We saw healings and broken lives healed. I feel that a new generation for the community has hatched. I want to thank Jeff Gallucci and Kyle Ponstingle for being their when I need them. Mrs Jane Boomer and my wife, Joi, for reflection, Glorious music rose in the Sanctuary. Each professors talk built on each other and touched each one of us. The food was incredible including the special ingredient in the spaghetti sauce by Nico. Please encourage these babe chicks as they learn how to fly through 4th day groups and involvement within the weekends. We are excited for them to come back and help us with the upcoming Women s Beloved weekend, March 29nd, 30th, and 31st.
