Our Heartshare/Council Annual Picnic was a great success! Congratulations to Brother Fred Manzola and his Committee for a job well done.

There was a bounce house for the kids to play in, water pistols, water balloons, slip and slides, and they made use of all of these to enjoy the day.

Nuccio, GRAND KNIGHT S MESSAGE Brother Knights, Summer is close to being over and we prepare for a busy Fall Season starting now. By the time you read this, the Annual Summer Degree will have taken place, and I trust it was a great success. It is the duty of every member to try and recruit new members to insure the success of the Council and the Order. Keep a Form 100 with you at all times for this reason. Our Heartshare/Council Annual Picnic was a great success! Congratulations to Brother Fred Manzola and his Committee for a job well done. The weather was picture perfect, the kids had lots of fun, and there was more than enough food to go around. There was a bounce house for the kids to play in, water pistols, water balloons, slip and slides, and they made use of all of these to enjoy the day. Thanks also to all the Members and Families who showed up early in the morning to get everything set up, cook, clean, and basically make sure a great time was had by all. Next on the agenda, is our Installation of Officers on Tuesday, September 8 th at the September Business Meeting. All Officers should be there no later than 7 P.M. to prepare and get Robed for the Ceremony. Please do not forget the PGK Anthony Corso Testimonial Dinner on Saturday Oct. 24th. 3 Columbiette News Dear Sister Columbiettes: I hope everyone had an enjoyable, safe, and healthy summer. Welcome back everyone! May we have a successful Columbian Year. On behalf of my Sister Columbiettes, I would like to congratulate and welcome back our new Grand Knight, Robert (Bob) Toigo. Bob was Grand Knight once before, and I know he will have a good year with his Brother Knights. On Sunday, September 27th, a Columbiette Major Degree is planned. For all information, contact Financial Secretary Joanne Toigo at If any Columbiette is up for Major Degree, please get in touch with Joanne. I hope to see many of my Sister Columbiettes at our first business meeting of the new Columbian year, Monday, September 14th. 4 Council News Installation of Officers Due to the lack of participation, the installation of Officers scheduled for Saturday, September 12 has been cancelled. The Installation will take place on Tuesday, September 8 at 7:00 PM, just prior to the regular business meeting. Members are encouraged to be in attendance for the installation and the meeting. This is your council and these are your officers. You joined the Knights of Columbus to be part of a worthy organization. Don't be a card carrier. Be involved. 7 Past Grand Knight Testimonial On Saturday October 24, 2015 the Council will celebrate a testimonial dinner & dance Honoring our Past Grand Knight, Tony Corso. There will be a cocktail hour starting at 7:30 and dinner will follow and include an open bar. For our dancing pleasure, we will have MµSIC n CxT entertain us. It is a customary practice for Cavallaro Council to pay tribute to and acknowledge our Past Grand Knights. This night will be a special evening for Tony and his family as well as all of our members.
