1 Notes Office Of The Secretary The Baptist Missionary And Education Convention Of Texas (Since 1873) Dr. Stephen C. Nash, Sr., President P. O. Box Dallas, Texas (972)

2 The President s Pen Official Address Listing Mr. Charles E. Wright, Sr. - Laymen President 4545 Reagan Street Beaumont, Texas (409) Rev. Oveal Walker, III - Minister s Conference President 2120 Renaud Street Beaumont, Texas (409) Beaumont is filled with excitement and great anticipation of the wonderful Annual Session of our State Convention. Thanks to Host Dr. Airon Reynolds and Borden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for helping to make it so. My prayer is that we will make this the best convention ever. This we can do by giving our very best in support and corporation. Thanks you for coming to Beaumont, Texas with this being our objective. Thursday at 2:30 p.m. will be the President s address and the B.M.&E Religious hall of fame service. I have asked each District Association to get a minimum of 10 churches from their District to register across the board (Parent Body and Auxiliaries. This will help us to meet our budget. Please note that we now have a budget; we now have a program to help struggling churches; we now have an active Constitution; we now have a Religious Hall of Fame. We now have lowered registration to accommodate more of our churches; we now have tenure of office; we are operating under a new paradigm shift; etc.. The work is better because we are better about our stewardship. Pastor we need you and your support! Help us! Listen, we prefer your presence, and we need your support in every way! Thank you so very much! Ms. Bonnie Black - Usher s President P. O. Box 2073 Jasper, Texas (409) Yours in Christ, Stephen C. Nash, Convention President
