The lesson for today, April 1, 2018, is Guess Who and the scripture is Luke 24:1-12, Next week s lesson is Taking Directions and the scripture is John 21:1-14. YOUNG GIRLS IN ACTION The Young Girls Spring Fling will be held on Sunday, April 8, immediately after the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service downstairs in Rooms All girls, ages 6 through 12, are invited to join us at our Tea Time in the celebration of God s season of newness. CHURCH-WIDE PRAYER BREAKFAST The Added Member Outreach Ministry will host an Added Members Churchwide Prayer Breakfast from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Fellowship Hall. This year s theme is Fellowship One with Another. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ. --1 John 1:3. Members who joined Antioch and received the Right Hand of Fellowship from 2016 March, 2018, are asked to attend. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your Pastor, Co-Pastor and the church staff. During this time, added members can ask questions, fellowship with other church members, and get to know Who s Who at Antioch! Seasoned and added members alike will have the opportunity to get to know Antioch just a little bit better as we welcome our new members to our Church family. So, make a date with your pew-mates to meet on April 14th, because you don t want to miss this fun and unique affair! Join us! 4 Easter was God s vindication of our Lord s life and death. Jesus had endured anguish, agony and death in the belief that God would not remain silent in the face of sin and injustice. Everything Jesus had taught about the real meaning of life was proven when God raised Him from the dead. THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS speaks a victorious word to us today. In spite of our haunting questions and problems, Easter affirms the mighty truth that God lives in us and we in Him. EASTER brings us renewed assurance that God loves us with a love that is greater than we can imagine. May this Easter Vision give all of us strength for VICTORIOUS LIVING every day of the year! YOUTH COMMUNITY SERVICE - REACH OUT! The Youth Ministry invites you to join them as they REACH OUT into the community and serve others. This community service event will be at the Nursecare of Buckhead facility. Two of our members are current residents. Gift boxes are being prepared for the residents, so we are asking for your support through donations; socks and Kleenex are greatly appreciated. We will visit Nursecare on Saturday, April 21, 10:30 a.m. 12:00 noon. All youth are invited to join us sign up in the narthex following each worship service. For further information, please see Sis. The phone number is HUMAN SERVICES MINISTRY For the week ending March 24, 2018, 346 bags of food were distributed. A total of 4,115 pounds of food was distributed. CLOTHING BANK Twenty-seven (27) families received goods through the Clothing Bank. MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Antioch Members who have been given the Right Hand of Fellowship are asked to please update their membership profile information via Antioch s website at or call the church office. If you have changed your name, address, home or cell phone number(s), or address, please submit your new information to the church office. If you are registered with online giving through ACCESS ACS, you may update your information on that site. Benny Williams at the church office, BABY DEDICATIONS Baby Dedications are held on the 4th Sunday of each month at the 11:00 Worship Service. The Baby Dedications are for infants from birth to six months of age.
