I am excited about opening our great Convention as President for the first time. To me this is history. WELCOME to the 145 TH Annual Session of the Tennessee Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention, Inc. I encourage us to take advantage of the opportunities that are made available to us through our great Convention this week and in weeks to come. Thanks to Pastor Carlos Williams and the Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church, Chattanooga, for hosting us this year. We appreciate Rev. Williams initiative to reach out for advance information to ensure that he and Orchard Knob could prepare to meet our needs. That s the mark of a great leader. Thank you.
