4 Potentate s Message Greetings Nobles and Ladies, It s hard for me to believe that this will be my last Potentate s Message. Our next three months will be very busy for us and I am looking forward to it. Please check our coming events in this issue of Jamil News and make plans to attend. Thanks to all that made the trip to Pigeon Forge for our Fun Fest Joint Ceremonial. I was told a great time was had by all, and a warm welcome to our newest Nobles. Also, thanks to those that attended the 13th Annual Shrine Day Parade in Sumter. It was a great parade. A special thanks to our Oriental Guide, Charles Buckner, Lady Tonya and their staff for a great Family Fun Day. Imperial Session was July 15th thru 19th, a lot of new information sent out. We also had the election of our new Imperial Potentate, Imperial Sir Jim Cain, congratulations, Imperial Sir. Also, another special thanks to our High Priest and Prophet Dennie Holcomb, Lady Bobbie Jo and their staff for a super Food Truck Jamboree. The food and weather was hot, so thanks to the units for the use of their A/C buildings to cool down. The Choo-Choos provided train rides for the big and small kids, thanks men. Good food, super music, cold drinks, beautiful weather.could not ask for nothing more. To Noble Ed Simpson, for your endless hours of putting together a very special event, The James Gregory Show, I can only say thank you! Your dedication and hard work shows these type of events can happen at Jamil. Again, thanks, Ed! In closing, I would just like to say again thank you for being so supportive this year. I am so proud to be a part of such an amazing organization, and so thankful to be a part of the Jamil Family. Team work is the key to success. Yours in the Faith, Coy Sharpe Potentate

Now how about a shout out to our High Priest and Profit, Dennie Holcomb and his Lady Bobbie Jo on a job well done for the Food Truck Jamboree! The Jamil Building Manager (Ed Simpson) organized a successful James Gregory Show; good job, Ed! While I m busy giving shout outs, I want to give a BIG shout out to Chief Aide Bobby Kneece and his Lady Twyla for the hospitality they provided to all Jamil Shriners who made the journey to Imperial Sessions in Daytona Beach-job well done; thank you. Now a little something about the lounge...the lounge is jumping this year! The beverage selections are plentiful, and it seems like there is a pretty good crowd just about every Friday and Saturday evening! So, ease on out to the lounge for a beverage or two and say hey to your shrine family. We still have a lot of year left as fall comes around. SASA! That s right SASA is right around the corner followed by the BBQ Cook-Off and a Fall Ceremonial. Get those candidates ready! That is all I have for now.
